the world is messed up and needs time to reflect on what its doing, what its done, why its done it, and how can it prevent itself from redoing it again. its a simple course of flowing with the river. you jump into the river, and changing from the tide is too difficult (once you get into something its hard to get out of it due to habit) so you simply stop fighting and go with the flow of the river and see where it takes you. Others who want to break free swim to the shore and manage to climb out breaking away from such tyranny as the "News" and "MTV" and such.

our society puts a heavy emphasis on pragmatism and materialism which kills the ability for ourselves to create a sense of identity security because of how we define who we are. We define ourselves (most people in accordance with society at least) according to what society tells us. So wearing short shorts and having my breasts (a woman, not myself) half exposed is who I am, I'm a whore (more or less) or slut. or even, I put out. There's a number of ways to get your head around that and interpret it, but it usually comes down to the same principle that people do not choose their own identities and do not choose a way to think for themselves causing all these problems that we have. Identity crisis is a good way of putting it.

Friends, I tell you! do not be deceived! Society is telling us what we are and who we are and we should not let that happen! One major problem is that there is too many options to choose from, and without someone telling you who you are or what to do, then you don't know and you will fall into a problem such as this identity issue. India does not have this problem. why? because they have a solid caste system that tells people who they are, where they belong and what they're gonna do. again, peasants and the whole thing with that (I can't remember the name for it) Kings were kings. you're born a peasant, you live as a peasant. you're born a merchant, you become a merchant etc. What you were born told you what you were. Without that today to tell you (or people to tell you exactly what you are) then you have very good odds of jumping into the river (usually you are walking by and you see something in the river, but the current is too strong after you jump in and you can't get out)

I'm just saying that I think we're exagerating this too much and giving it too much importance. In my opinion, and solely my opinion, I think somethings or some news should be just left alone like this story.
