ive been playing guitar for a few months now big_smile still kinda suck but im getting a little better big_smile

i been doinf the spider finger exercise it hels with dexterity and coordination big_smile

i can play some simple tunes

mostly intros to songs and stuff

i just have a dumb pinky so i tend to mess up a lot while playing big_smile

having a bit of short finger s doesetn help either sad

i just got a new guitar a few weeks ago big_smile

still using acoustic and will eventually get an electric after i find some good deal at the music store big_smile


ive been eying this les down for a few weeks now but i cant afford it sad

cost more than my car does sad

I been playing every week for 6 or 7 years now and I am absolutely shit. I can only remember 2 songs big_smile I have 1 acoustic and a semi-acoustic McCartney bass, and there's a 5-string Ibanez bass in the house too. I prefer bass to guitar.

i play guitar for 10 years and also sing, but i cannot be of much help to u all since i am lefthanded and I play normal guitars (righthanded guitars) Many msicians told me i am a rare guitarrist, and i cant teach anybady neither i can learn from anybody sad

Nylon strings more comfy too - metal need some getting used to cause if you're new to them they slice your fingers up a bit.

i have rough skin on my tips now so its easier to play

nylons are awsome but music sounds odd sometimes

i just got a banjo a few days ago too XD

anyone got any good tips on getting a new guitar ?

i want something cheap but that has decent soud for the price....

i want an acoustic/electric if possible ive been doing some searching on ebay but havent come to something i like yet

i dont want anything fancy just something simple and classic looking XD

Acoustics don't have to be that much brand new so I'd recommend getting a new one from your local music shop. It's another deal with electric guitars though, as they come at all sorts of prices. But yeh acoustics: investing in a reasonable new one oughtn't to set you back too much smile

theres a les paul on sale in the newpaper for 380 USD but its eectric (

thay have a thinner fret board and i dont think im ready for smallness yet sad

im gonna go cech out a guitar with a 2 in thick nut in a few hours big_smile

also if any of youe guys wants cool tips and stuff i recomend http://www.guitartricks.com/main.php a lot of free lessons but for 10 bucks a month you get access to a lot more big_smile

I play the guitar and the bass. Guitar as a hobby which is self learned and a bass in a band with my friends. Playing my first concert this friday - it'll most likely be crap but ah well tongue
