I personally am not in favor of the stimulus bill but atleast it will go to some good use unlike wars that cost us trillions with no benefits. And give him some time to cut spending... We are faced with a huge recession and you want him to work miracles. He talks of things where he is able to cut spending but i agree with you those things are vague. Give him atleast a year before you get full details. I happen to recall the american public not knowing the truth about a certain war that rhymes with properation piraqi preedom... You can accuse him of lying after a year.

I say to you:  No, it is not necessary. Not even the slightess.. If we continue to support these guys that got us here in the first place.. we can just expect more of the same. We should instead be seeking out smaller, healthy banks and help them back, and administer the liquidity that the "big boys" can't. You'll notice they took the money, and padded their pockets with it, and didn't loan it. That is why we are still "bailing" then out. frankly tho I fear hyper-inflation more than the bail outs.. however, the bailouts are a fast track to hyper-inflation.

to the OP. the President doesnt disrespect me. I am what he respects and fears, people that arent swayed by his gift for public speaking. he disrespects the masses, yet the masses still love them, and they deserve the mess and disrespect he's handing to them.

ok, maybe he doesnt respect me but he isnt disrespecting me; he's disrespecting and lieing to the dumb masses that are worshiping the ground he walks on.
