Topic: 25 States pass or are passing resolutions

Like HCR 50 in Texas

Essentially these resolutions state the States will not tolerate any further the Federal Government violating the 10th Amendment and affirming each States Sovereignty.

Care to try to ignore this to?

Everything bad in the economy is now Obama's fault. Every job lost, all the debt, all the lost retirement funds. All Obama. Are you happy now? We all get to blame Obama!
Kemp currently not being responded to until he makes CONCISE posts.
Avogardo and Noir ignored by me for life so people know why I do not respond to them. (Informational)

Re: 25 States pass or are passing resolutions

ahahaha. I thought State's rights were by now reduced to only a formality, and by now the federal government was able to successfully centralize control. Looks like those Southerners need another beating, well in the future. In the mean time, the federal government needs some sane people in it and Obama out of office. We can beat up the South again later.

I'm an anti-Federalist. I am in favor of America as a unitarian nation-state, where states are nothing more than administrative divisions.

China will overtake the U.S. within another 20 years anyway.

China? LOL! Most global elites are of Western origin, and power is grossly focused on the West. If power does shift, it would be in Europe's favor. If that happened, due to cultural similarity, the US would become closer to Europe.

Otherwise I don't see how the US is likely to be overtaken by China. Furthermore, I fail to see how the US will lose its hegemony any time soon.

Edit: If you include the economies of the EU, Japan, and the US, their combined economies more than quadruple the size of China's.

Any how, it's time for America to get passed Federalism. I don't see myself as a Minnesotan, rather as an American.

Re: 25 States pass or are passing resolutions

Obviously flint doesn't know of the crap that goes through my states legislative branch ever year. These bills are usually introduced as nothing more than a means to get their personal opinions on record and for "Chest-beating" by the lame ducks there so that they cam "claim" their working for the people when all their doing is sapping up our tax money for their own personal gain. I'm not a betting man but you can probably go back in historical records and find a bill like this introduced every year in this state for the past 100+ years.

In other words the bill is a joke and is worth less than the paper it's printed on. They should worry more about our states education problems instead of worrying about the next election cycle.

In Texas we're Texans first and American second, those other states just aren't as cool as we are. tongue
