I couldn't even be bothered to read all the rest of the recent posts. All I have to say is, it's crap like what's going on in this thread that is why I'm re-retiring after this round. Yes, some of it is due to rl factors, but most of the reason lies with the fact that people around here act like ***ing animals.

We have people accusing others of cheating, without proof, mods flaming other players in forums, players  needlessly insulting each other's skill when in fact we're all in agreement that there is a problem that needs to be fixed (which is the real point of this thread despite Artic's lack of impartiality,) and worst of all, we have an Admin, who doesn't give a rats ass about this game.

It's obvious really... Stefan made this game in 1999 or so? After 10 years of anything, I'd be bound to get sick of taking care of a game that I no longer had interest in and which made me no substantial money. The game is dwindling because Stefan doesn't care... Think about who you were 10 years ago? I was 12 years old ffs!    My point is, the Stefan who created this game to break off from Utopia, is not the same Stefan he is today. Master Mike moved on long ago and left Stefan with sole responsibility, which clearly he no longer cares about. Let's say Stefan was 22 when he wrote this game... He's now 32 and probably married with kids and in a different job. (I don't know anything about his personal life nor do I care, but you get my point) Why would he care about IC 10 years later? I know I won't care about IC in 10 more yrs, apart from some fun memories...

Now, on to Mods:

Nolio might be a bit out of line, but he's probably just fed up, he doesn't get paid to moderate, he does it for free, he gets a little bit of extra privilege, and a lot of extra BS. So cut him some slack... Should they have posted the bug in announcements...? OF FRIGGIN COURSE!!! But are they really at fault here?? No. Stefan is, but as I said before, he won't lose sleep over it.

WE ALL NEED TO LEARN TO ACT LIKE HUMAN BEINGS, and just chill the *** out. The bug will not be fixed until Stefan feels like fixing it, in the mean time... as Talic and others have suggested, make extra figs for defense instead. And in the mean time, while we await Stefan, try not to kill each other.



And for the record, I was unaware of the bug until recently, because I intentionally stay out of forums as often as possible, because of threads like this... X(

Guys the bug had been around the whole of last round of PW and Capri. Ppl still managed to live with it so dun take it too hard. Everyone shld just chill off a bit. smile

shouldnt 17k attacking droids, beat 100k defending droids

if so, idont care about this bug, and ur droids r gona get pwnd, bankers

naah droids defense should still be better, so the changes implaced to give soldiers the defense edge and droids the attacking backfired and made droids superior tongue when i look at pw i didn't notice any banker that was aware of this bug as very few of them have droids in their race tongue

Retire as a mod becouse off all the bullshit idiots like you throw at them. Always demanding there time for every lil tinkle you need in #mod, always taking everything for granted. While being the first to throw a bunch of shit at them as soon as something goes the tiniest bit wrong.

So when some people do time consuming stuff without asking something back, they might get fed up with it when all they get for there efforts is a lot of BS.

dont they attack with 7 and defend with2

if so it should be like 20k droids beats 100k banker droids

as i remember right there is bug involved attack/defence forumla, so if u attack it should also us attack points for defence atm. so my gues is that u need n+1 droid to take defender out. (if defender have n droids and both of u have similar attack bonus)

Mods, its the the bug we are accusing you for, its the part where you take that info and seem to use it in your own families, but do not share it with the rest of the community.

All you have to do is to explain the bug, and its allready much better!

When I came back from a break, there were a ton of changes.  New IA rules, only 1 ally instead of two,  and also, ironically, we use droids/soldiers defense points to decide a battle instead of how many are left.  Wtf, you want them to announce everything they've ever changed once a month? lol

we dont accuse u of cheating, we just tryin to say it isnt fair that many were aware and seems alot were, as it was a huge impact, but such a small notice.
