Isn't the bugged soldiers one of the top threads in the bugs forum?

i hate to say it but artic is actualy right for a change... if there is a known bug it needed to be anounced properly 95% of ic comunity dosent go into bug forum other then when we ancounter a bug. i wont say its cheating but sure as hell is an undue advantade to those who knew about it and changed their races.
we have a 2 month old anouncment that soldier have 7 defence if it isnt so another anouncment needed to go out as soon as it was found out.

New Feature: Specialised Ground UnitsThis change is in effect across all galaxies.
Currently soldiers are seen as a lesser ground unit compared to droids. This is about to change with an alteration of their vital statistics. Soldiers will now be used as more of a defensive unit with stats favouring ground defense, whereas droids will now be more of an attacking unit, with stats favouring ground attack. Here are the new figures:
Soldiers
Ground attack: 2 (was 5) Ground defence: 7 (was 5)
Droids
Ground attack: 7 (was 6) Ground defence: 4 (was 7)
Droids still remain the more powerful unit, but they still tend to cost more to build.

NO. This might as well just mean getting totally rid of soldiers in IC. There has to be a difference, and there has to an advantage to either.
What SHOULD be done, is fixing the freaking bug already.

luster, prozac, and much more experienced banekrs didnt know this bug, and fall victim to it
the only thing i accuse here, is 1750 (with 2 mods who have droids) for not doing something to make sure the entire community knew of the bug, instead making a leet family with plans to abuse it
im sure if all bankers knew of such a bug, people wouldnt be going with traditional races, such as revalons, or a normal 50% income 50% research type race that doest NOT include droids
so i suggest, we let people send their requested race to someone, or make droids avaialable to all, reguardless of race

To be fair to Artic, I had no idea about this, I heard there was a bug awhile ago in ICPG. But I naturally assumed that it had since been fixed. (especially because ICPG was back in December).
I'm no ignorant bastard, but I don't read the Bugs forum until I find a bug to post about. Granted, I have been attacker ever since, except in SD. Now, I am a banker in the top family in SD, I don't have droids in my race there, and I'm not complaining because my fam is sucking ass (in fact quite the opposite is true), I'm complaining cause it's unfair to have an unfixed bug in the game. I don't think everyone should get droids, that would be unfair to ppl who spent their race points on other things, however, it is beyond reasonable that the bug be fixed, if it hasn't been done so yet.
But as for Artic's claims of cheating, if that's what he's implying, I must say that's ludicrous garbage.

who cares what arctic is saying, this bug has to get fixed. Rumours has been going on the entire capri round and not even once was it posted in announcements. So I figured since its not worth mentioning there, maybe its fixed. I dont read bug forum often at all.

There should have been an announcement before capri started. Now those fams that knew have a HUGE advantage.
Cheating, who knows, I don't put anything above humanity. It needs to be fixed though and fixed now.
EDIT: And if it is not fixed immediately... then I will accuse cheating. I know that a lot of bankers used those points already... but a lot didn't... It needs to be fixed mid round... right away.

however, stefan is not having one of his active spells at the moment
does it effect all gals? should of been an announcement, but also any1 who read in bugs could of spread the word. gals should be frozen until its resolved
Primo that isnt the point, artic is right.
If there is a bug, inform people bout it, and then its fair again.
I asked several mods for this like 3-4 months ago, but they refused then.
Seeing now that a modfam is abusing this info actually saddens me, because that was the promise i was given back then, they wouldnt abuse it, so the need to tell it wasnt there.
Now it has obviously become and issue, and the mods should be quick to explain what is wrong, else all credability is really lost.

And dont blame it on stefan, yes you need him to fix it, but you do not need him to remove the unfair advantage, you just have to let everyone know whats going on
no artic i knew about the bug but i was blocked 5 days before sor so coudn't change race 
At what point do bugs go in announcements, they never have in the past.
There was plenty of talk about the bug, including in uni news.
