*Edit: But anything of worth is measured by the person who is placing value into it so this is a question that can't really be answered right or wrong. It's like me saying a rock is the most useful thing in the world because it can be used as a weapon or a tool.
Since the Roman Empire, white people have at various periods been very adaptable. Capable of ripping off technologies from other parts of the world and adapting them to their purposes, they have/had at their disposal the best technology in the world.
Well, white people have invented more things in the past two centuries. Not due to intelligence or any way superior (or because they are uber Mensch 
). It's really only because they have been the upper class for the past two centuries. It's pretty easy to list the achievements, but I'll just name the people. Einstein, Thomas edison, Wright Brothers etc etc. Again I stress that it's not necessarily due to intelligence (except Einstein of course), but white people have had more opportunity to innovate and create in the past couple of centuries.

Maybe in the distant past, the medieval ages you may have been correct. I am not a history buff, but the only current stealing of technology have been the Russians.

but it did help.
anyway, these "race pride" things are kind of silly, seeing how all races were originally african. whites, asians and such are merely the next step of evolution when compared to blacks, but there's still not much point in celebrating something you were handed at birth. it's not like you had to fight to become a member of your race.
but if it makes you happy.. electricity, www, space travel & moonwalking (on the moon, not dancing. in case some brutha was wondering), nuclear power, modern computers, string theory. to name a few.
I don't believe that it is exactly true, I haven't heard of any empirical evidence that people were originally black. I don't think you could necessarily call it a next step on the evolutionary chain either, simply because of the skin color. I think what happened is that people's skin color just changes over time when they are in an environment conducive to that skin color. Black skin is certainly more resistant to UV rays, so maybe they were just more exposed to UV rays overtime and their skin just changed. I suppose you could call that an evolutionary "change", but a minor one albeit.

Edison wasn't brilliant, he was a thief. He had thugs to come break your stuff if you were the competition too. That's why the motion picture business moved to Hollywood--it's as far away from his thugs in this country they could go.
