***any more inactives? (620)***

Maxatrons family.  Surprisingly the family has not been involved in anything bizzare or majorly intrusive.  Intelligent alliances with 614 and 623 ensure that in a cramped sector this family has room to manouvere.  Ruling Forces, their pop banker, has recently been hit and lost around 140k nw with an estimated loss of 290k/tick on gc.  I expect this to have a tumbling effect on the economy of the family, and i wouldn't be surprised if more dammage was to be inflicted.  Albeit in these situations, the reins are in the hands of Maxatron - who is capable of pulling victory out of the jaws of defeat.  The family prides themselves on their tight knit core and with the addition of two new attackers they have been presented with the perfect opportunity to fight back.  Maxatron's review suggests that the family has one or two fresh virgo players, which means that not only are they consistently growing but the family is also brooding players for the future.  If they can fend out this onslaught they should go on to do decently.  Contenders for top 10.

***--> Last Order (617)***

Can you say, surrrprise?? A family stuck in the bottom five they have shot up to the top spots with some brilliant diplomacy.  The family boasts 5 NAPs as well as two alliances rendering 35% of the galaxy moot.  The leader, Zack, has definately taken over from Cloud and has shown the galaxy just how much you can achieve when you persevere with determination.  Currently are involved in a few skirmishes with 628 but nothing major for the family to deal with.  Their decisive blow came with their domination of 621, wherein they gained, roughly 130 planets more than full built.  Beginning with a limited attacking force they have now been blessed with two caamars who seem like they are willing to aid Zack and Sephiroh.  If their three bankers can continue their growth, and if the family can get more aggressive they can surely go on to be the biggest surprise of the round.  Contenders for top 10

***Black & White (618)***

Everything started off very well for this family, until RIm(aka jang0) deleted, and the family shot down to #15.  There is by far the widest gap between #14 and #15 of almost 1mil nw - something i do not believe my family can gain.  Everyone in this family has played IC for at least two years and they boast heaps and heaps of attacking ability.  However they are highly restricted in their banking dept with two bankers supporting an excess of 8 players.  This however has not been the real issue.  Cramped between 615, 631,620 and 632 the family has no space to explore and is desperately gasping for planets.  Needless to say, plans are there to go out with a simple bang. N/A

***We bought our accounts on Ebay (614)***

This family, clearly, is a three man team.  Very few times do i come across a family which has one attacker who is supported by two large bankers.  As expo phase is drawing to a close and we enter into the business end of the round It will be interesting to see the growth of this family.  Obiviously blessed with their position they have had to work hard to keep that Sector tidy.  This matter could quickly be exemplified with 625 and 628 who, on the back of a war, will be looking for planets in their backyard - S1.  As of now, the family has around 6600 nw per planet which further indicates the state of their economy.  However there is feirce competition for the elusive top 10 spot and as the round continues i just dont see this family being able to hold onto it for much longer, and will need an injection of one or two powerful attackers to solidify their standing.  Pretenders for top 10.

***Natural Disasters - Tsunami (624)***

Rocking the booth with an SS caamar, obiviously the only person brave enough to do this is our very own Florissant Pink aka Cyclone.  Interestingly this family was declared on by 615, upon which 615 grabbed very few planets during the war.  With the decleration still in force (against them) the family began to slowly gain a stronger foothold against 615 until today, when i have been told that 624 were offered a NAP from 615! It is safe to say that this family is riddled with SS players, Thunderstorm, being another example.  Needless to say, Funeral is doing a decent job with this family, and the initial shock of being dropped has been rectified by this family.  Surpassing their former allies this family now is on the brink of top 5 and with a nw/planet of around 5300 I expect them to grab #5 within a day or so.  Holding onto it will be another matter.  Contenders for top 5

I did not recieve alot of information from this family, apart from a quick one-liner from Flipmode.  This family seems to me to be a little planet fat(just a tad) and this exemplifies the fact that 70% of the families networth comes from their bankers - a very commanding figure. A little too much, i find.  As the expo phases is slowly dying out so is this family, and it is in a poor condition atm.  After playing a very poor diplomatic game against 624 the family has paid the price.  In their defence, they have lost a few key players in the struggle and from the time they lost their top resourcer i did feel things were always going downhill.  Pretenders for top 10

***Surrender Please (615)***

Commendeered(sp?) by Stag(EDN) and SmackOne this family is certainly a peculiar one.  SmackOne is a verteran of the game, a player who is capable of putting alot of strain on a single family - the one responsible for the downfall of ruling forces (620).  However i cant help but feel that these two hard nuts of the game are demanding the same work from the rest of their players.  A quick skirmish with 616, then straight away declearing on 624 was a foolish move, exhausting their bankers funds (i bet) and in turn leading themselves into the position they are in right now.  As i understand SmackOne is taking proper care of some of the younglings within the family, and is nurturing a true sense of the game to some new players.  He, as well as Stag, have big ideas for the future - while they might be able to handle the stresses and the strains, not everyone will be able to do the same.  I still feel that if the family thinks with their head, and not with the size of their fleet, then they have a decent chance - despite their terrible position.  Contenders for top 10

***    Goat Humping Incorporated (628) ***

They lost precious time after warring with 625 for a total of 6 days, which seemed to have dammaged their whole economy - however coming out of the war as the debateable victors the family has quickly asserted their position and the bankers have bounced back with Whiskerbiscuit leading the fray.  From the looks of things, the family have been infra-jumping, and does seem that this will continue as the norm for the next few days in order to strenghten their economy.  In addition they have a powerful spread in S3 as well as S4 and have been able to defend them - which allows for furthur escapades whenever the fam sees fit.  However i do feel the family is carrying some excess luggage from the war and need to build on it quickly, otherwise they will risk losing their #5 spot.  Pretenders for top 5

***;;;;; THE BLACK HEARTS;;;;; (627)***

Not a very informative review was sent to me, yet it does give a few hints about this family.  Predictably they are sitting on a huge core right now, but the biggest thing is they also have the biggest capacity for growth.  Afaik the other 3 sectors are fiilling up much much faster and S1 is going to be the holy grail pretty soon (if not already!).  THis family is going to have to do its best to fend off any threats that come into their core, and their ability to play IC will really be tested in the coming weeks.  Helter Skelter is doing an immense job keeping the cores as tidy as possible, but s/he definately has their work cut out.   the informat claims that the family is retreating into defensive mode - and this is something that they have to be careful of.  If they decide to simply sit and do the occasional offensive move then it could bite them come EoR when families are hunting for a kickabout.  Nevertheless the family has displayed astounding levels of growth, particularly from RedLink and Kings of Chaos - a continued growth and intelligent attacking will lead the family to success.  Contenders FTW

***R E L O A D E D (623)***

TitanOfPW has displayed a scintillating growth spurt, leading to a consistent rise in income for the family.  Way ahead of the next banker (around 500k) he has definately stolen the show and kept this family in the running.  A few cases of inactivity has meant that the family has slipped from pole position and unlike their competitors they are in a demanding sector wherein planets are scarce.  They are going to have to flex their muscles and fight for space - boasted a potent attacking force consisting of the new PW phenomenon, Keerbtje has partnered alongside DM to hold the family steady and inject some much needed bout of aggression to the family.  Unfortunately, space does not allow the family to grow into the true juggernauts that i had anticipated and they are going to have to do with the position they are in.  Contenders for top 5

***Are Banging Cameron (631)***

Very hard to pick out one thing wrong about this family - sofarin they have behaived as the perfect IC family, displaying perfect amount of ruthlessness as well as honour.  The fact that AlcoholicBeverage has been given such a big jump suggests that the family are upto something.  Doling out NAPs to the less fortunate seems to be MWs forte, and he displays three NAPs with smaller families.  Their excess amount of planets allows them to enjoy lower building costs and this really has been their trump-card.  They have good spread thruout the galaxy, however there are some startling holes in their own core.  Investigate a little deeper and you begin to see cracks in this family, and you already hear silent whispers, is someone planning something spectacular, to reduce these behemoths?  Well, doesn't everyone want to topple #1 - it is a worry that every #1 family faces and 631 is no exception.  They have to keep their cores squeaky clean and ensure that families are ejected out as fast as they saw themselves in.  Pretenders FTW
