Topic: Getting a tattoo for my birthday (30th of March)

Yeah and I just recently decided how its supposed to look and where its gonna be.

The design is simple, and cool in its simplicity :

And I'll put this little mark on my neck. Now to my point of this thread...anyone else wanna take that tattoo ? If so tell me, and we could post pics of our new tattoos in General here in IC forums ^^

I've been thinking about getting a tattoo, but I'd definitely get something decent...

I'll never know if it was worth the pain, but I still loved it more than anything in the world - it was my life.

It will forever stand as a tesomony of when you sat hours infront of your pc trying to get 100% gamerscore in CoD4. And when chicks ask why you did something like that, you will explain it stands for leet and tell them your gf put in on cuz you were awsomme in bed.

Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...

No. Me and her broke up 2 months ago ^^

And I know I'll regret it when I'm forty, but that'll be one of my smallest regrets, so I dont worry too much. Also in the neck its not really for me to watch, I will just know its there ^^

And yeah, it is to remind me of countless hours spent on gaming over the years, and as gaming has been part of my life ever since I was 3yrs old, I think it symbolizes a kinda important part of my youth life. Its not like its a tattoo I haven't thought about at all, but its a fun thing I wanna do for myself before I get too old to do something as stupid as this ^^

I've been contemplating some form of skin modification for awhile now (moreso a brand than a tattoo, though both are cool), but in no way would I ever get some type of computer/gaming phrase or word.  That would be [rabbity] ridiculous and immediately regrettable. Never would I get a brand or tattoo that immediately labelled me as a complete and utter computer "nerd" or douchebag. Now, that is only the way I think. I know there are others whom this type of permanent marking would be perfect for. I personally wouldn't be caught dead with something like that. Probably because I don't consider myself within that type of mold (IC is the only online game I play, and I still catch flak from my friends for playing it). I will say, though, that if this type of thing is a big part of your life, go ahead and do it.

lol You know, I laughed when Damon said he was getting a l33t tattoo. I laughed more when I found out he was serious. But after hearing his reasoning, I say go for it. The majority of us have somehow been trapped as gamers. I never thought I'd grow up playing a computer game so often. Damon makes a good point. It's a much better reason for getting a tattoo than "Oooh, I think a skull and crossbones looks cool!"

I don't get ink I just grow inappropriate facial hair.  Then I botch trimming it one day and cut it all off

you should do it yourself, nearly two tears ago my college roomate sprayed my arm with air in a can dust remover, im not sure if it was frost bite or a chemical burn, but i still have an oval about 6inches long on my arm from it. just shake up the can, spray it upside down, and have a design cut out of plastic to make it the desired shape.
