we dont remove inactives from a family.. it has always been up to the family to do that.

If you wish, contact a mod of an inactive in your family and we can run a multi check on it and then maybe we can do something about it.

I'm not that bothered that I have an inactive in my family now, knowing that I can get rid of them.  But all families with an inactive will get a slow start due to not having access to four players allocated resources, this will increase the time needed to expo and build up planets and will also mean that families who have to get rid of an inactive will lose NW and score.  This in my mind is a severe disadvantage over families where all four members are active from the start.

There is also the fact that after 48 hours when we eventually can kill inactives off, the new member who comes in will not know the strategy and might not be the race that you need (attacker/banker) to help the family.

In future mods should be able to remove inactives from a hardcore/small family galaxy such as SD before the round begins.  To make it fairer and more fun over the round.

But i'm looking forward to the round and hope it's a good one.  Good luck all.  big_smile

Why don't u draft in someone u want then?

That way you get to play with a friend too.

And if you're really that keen on doing it, and have a friend thats not a VIP ....you could just kill your random at a time when the gal is full, creating space for 1 extra person in the galaxy - and then just have that friend of yours random in.

(Btw, thats known as illegal drafting - and illegal in normal gals - but they have preventive measures against it.  And since SD is full drafted, I dont think mods will have an issue - plus, you are already at a disadvantage with an inactive player anyway.  Just make sure your friend doenst random into the wrong fam! tongue)

Are you also able to check if they have sent their reso out? if they have then thats no inactive.

It's okay I have a draft waiting but for other families that don't have a draft waiting and they just get a random...I'm sure there a lot of players checking regularly for any free spots, then they might have the situation I described above.

It just seems very inefficient.

well, one problem.  My friend was afk when we killed our inactive.  We had randoms joining in (and leaving cuz i asked them to leave politely tongue ) while i was trying to alert/wake him up on msn!   Well...in the end, my friend was too late (well...i kinda gave up ....the spot taken).

I managed to get both of my drafts in that I wanted in.  Unfortunately killing off two inactives with infra meant a large drop in score and NW rankings.  Lets just see how it goes from now on eh.

what they shud do is not allow attacks for like a week, every explore everywhere, start with more resources for quicker get going, and then when attacks are allowed it would be so much fun. And have half hour ticks:P

Real attackers will shine:p
