if your smart, you wont give anyone naps until the situation unfolds. Its true Naping can gived you a positional edge, but it can also confine you, and later on if that fam is planet fat and you need planets, you can only blame yourself for napping.

im glad people are posting now.  Omg..i just read a post ahead of me about pixies sig..lol and then i scrolled up...and that IS awsome lol...i worked on the movie space chimps as an animator so to speak...and the vioce actor recoreded taht song with Dr. Jagu when he was doing vioces, so we made a little music vid that went around the office, and it was TOO funny...lol...

God damn it, there must be something the mods can do to remove inactive, unwanted randoms from SD before the round begins!!!

I messaged my random asking him nicely to delete while there are still other free spaces in other fams but he never online and he never message me back...To me this is Inactive or Rogue and the mods should remove him before the round begins so my draft can get in.

Yeah fair point Commy but so far he hasn't contributed to forums, doesn't conform with the fam theme, doesn't discuss strategy, basically isn't online, ever.  If he is just waiting for SOR he should at least try and speak to us about a fam strategy, contribute in some way.

Anyway, what's the point in having ability to draft when all your spots fill up with randoms within 12 hours of registration opening.  My draft was working when the gal opened for registration, then I joined a friends fam and the other two spots filled up before my draft finished work, when there was still fams with only 1 guy in them...

It should be that drafts get priority, then any free spots can be filled with randoms say two days before SOR, if there is more demand then more families should be created.  Otherwise what's the point in paying for the benefits of a VIP account.

EDIT: SD is now full...:P  With 4 days left till BOR.

I cant get my whole fam in either, cos of a random.

Wanted to play seriously this round too, and now I can only play with 2 of the peopl that I wanted to... Basically can only play with 3 ppl in a 4 man fam....

Can we do something about it?  Having full families arleady kinda indicates a huge interest in this.  We should reset and go for a bigger map with more families and systems. 

I mean, having 4 possible drafts, out of a family of max 4 - kinda should allow for the leader to place the family password on (it 'has' been done before) to prevent unwanted drafts - and also something to stop randoms coming in when you don't need.

commy, some just want to play with 3 people they want. i have also had a lot of trouble, got a family together but can't get everyone in since we have a random. now the gal is full and can't exactly force this guy to delete.

I also wanted to play with old friends on a hardcore round... and now I look to be in a inactive fam, one person I've seen loged in at all, no posts in the forum till I posted about it and posted a chat room for us to use, no one entering the irc chat room I made... I feel like I'm looking at going ss by sor and prolly barely makeing it past the first 3 weeks if I'm lucky... cus the fam I was gonna draft into filled up before we could sort out vip's and friend codes... used my deletes and the gal is full... *shrugs* ahh well I guess... I'm going to try to have fun but I'm looking at devoteing my attention to capri more-so for sure now
