I mean, as impressive as you guys have been (03), what's with this hype?

18 is a very dominant family, as shown this round (and last) that they have yet to lose a war, and has fought from beginning till end. Load is THE best attacker in Pinwheel, I don't think that's even questionable. 18 already fought 03 once and won convincingly, in all honesty we (01) didn't do much in that. Now 03 infrawhored all the way to top while 18 fought the rest of the top 10 in legitimate, full-scale wars (which their economy suffered tremendously in the process, or simply with no time to rebuild). Being where they are right now is nothing short of impressive in my opinion. is 03 really going to act like they're so skilled and brag in uni? seriously?

With that said, I'm not taking anything away from 03 about the success they have achieved this round. Intelligent diplomacy helped them significantly this round as well as a clean core and a helpful ally. I think in the end, many of us had fun this round, regardless of where you are and how you played the round, and that's what it matters. To me personally, and many that are like me who played countless rounds in Pinwheel, rankings are no longer important to us, it's the friendships, the rivalries and just the overall appreciation for the game that fueled us to continue playing.

Re Flashy: that's not what I was talking about. We neglected the opportunity to completely demolish a family in order to pursue something that is much more exciting (and more challenging) for us - fighting the top family (both economically and militarily) in a distance war (3-4 ticks?) where their attackers are cammars and our lead attackers have half the speed. I think 2v1 at the time was somewhat fair considering the circumstances, though I normally do not condone such actions either. I think in the end, despite the fact that my fam (01) did not gain many planets from this war, it was an enjoyable experience for 11 and our alliance that the war happened.

Re Hummy: We fought every family that is within range that we are not NAPed with tongue by wars I mean full fledged war declarations.

If you want a fair fight, we can elevate 18 on the same economic scale as you guys via market aid from maybe 01 and whoever else it takes to even the level, and then we can have Load showcase his attacking skills for those who have yet to witness smile

but none in 03 claimed they were better,  as i see it. i have much respect for 18 as they dont have the infra to back it up and still get planets smile
@ jack we did not brag, yes we're happy to reach 2k planets( is that so wrong...) but we never said we'd own you guys.
also questions is a first rounder and did very well. dnu if others in pw r first rounders, but the guy deserves a medal smile

Do i take this as "good job , you guys did great, being no 1 and all" or... "your no 1 because you suck" ...you kinda left no room for us to defend ourselves...since you bash us, then compliment us...leaving us in a dress outside the applebees wondering why theres a moustach on our face. lol...

And about the whole fair fight...it WAS a fair fight, since we all started at the same time with the same things..and we won... Hence the purpose of the round. We are not going to let another fam biuld just so the fight is fair, since we worked hard to have the lead we have. Would a runner slow down to let the guys behind catch up during a race so that the race is more fair? No...cause it is as fair as it can be...with everyone where they belong.

Attacking isnt everything in this game, and people mistake that.  There is planning involved, and strategy off the battle field aswell that puts a fam ahead.  Theres the bankers aswell. So just becasue a fam wins all its wars doesnt mean that it will be in first.  and of course a fam with attacking strengths would want to have a fair fight for a war...its the only way you would stand a chance in this situation.

This round has some really good players ...load for atacking, steve for infra banking and somehow magically keeping his nw (hack lol) and alot of the vets in 01 have some mad skills for thier lead in the early bor strat they used.  The winner is the one whos combined strengths outmatched the other fams.  which would be us...

So imo i dont think my fam should aid you through market lol...

we didn't rape 07... we offered them a pnap for 0 planets... they refused even after we said that'd mean to fight us and 06 2 vs 1....  they kept demanding planets... which they were in no position to ask. When u deleted i raped 07 for being asses in our 11/10 war.

also score says it all! 1615 is 3 times or more our NW and 1.5 times our planets... yet only 10k ahead on score tongue suckz0rs!

i agree templare (captain jack). i know loads skills as an attacker and i have been in 18s chat a whole lot this round as you well know so i know how much they have over come. i know our family is in a much better position since we have lots of infra and haven't had as many wars either. but im still sure that load will do a lot of damage since he would never give up. honestly in my opinion we done the same thing, but we have no bigger family to attack temp, we napped you and 18 and 11 as far as i know are to far away. apart from that we had 06 and we fought them.

yea questions was an awesome first rounder. and killdrgn was an awesome second rounder. I got a msg from steve saying its people like me making people leave this game. well first you obviously don't know me because im sure most people that have been in my fam like playing with me just like these two people who will continue to play and had a fun round. So what you had a bad 1 week of ic doesn't mean im making people quit the game or hsould quit when they get attacked.

Just want to state that templare made a comment, and let me quote: "Load is THE best attacker in Pinwheel, I don't think that's even questionable", wich is wrong (biased or not), and not really fair to the rest of PW. THere are few, but ATLEAST 1 who matches LOAD's skill as an attacker.

Re Tyreal: Yes, my post may have been a little bit biased, what I meant to say is that Load has been consistently one of the best attackers in Pinwheel in the past few rounds, this is a feat that not many has achieved as far as I can see. If I neglected to mention players who also deserves this honor, please feel free to correct me. and I'm not talking about having the ability to attack, I'm talking about those who talk AND walk.

Re flipmode: you should be glad that you missed the war with 18 wink

Re Flash: True that there's none bigger to attack, but you guys outta at least consider 11 before 18 (to drop PNAP and fight I mean), since you guys never even fought them before? wink

Re Communism: I'm feeling like you guys want to get back at 18 because you guys lost the first time (with similar infra/savings/fleet) and now you guys have better infra to back it up :X

Until a nap is effective, unless there is a CF, which there wasn't,everything is fair game nublets! wink  As stated by 03 at BOR to 01 and 18 "its either PNAP or WAR" so you left us very little choice, and at the time, we could have easily continued but finally RICKING and I came to an understanding and Temp and Load reluctantly agreed to a PNAP. Kindly put, I have nothing but respect for RICKING and many others in your family obviously, but the point is that if any of you in 03 actually think that it was 18 or us (01) that wanted the PNap, lol, you're sadly mistaken and maybe you should talk to your leader to clarify what actually happened and thank him for saving your sorry asses while you're at it...because if the events hadn't unfolded the way they did, your fam wouldn't even be in Top 10. wink

i didnt say anything about who wanted a pnap, lol..the fact is, we didnt force anybody into a pnap, its not like we went into your releations and signed one for you. And you can say "reluctantly" all you want, but the fact is you chose to sign it.  You may have some good attackers, we do too, but we have better leadership and planning.  which is why we are winning, and you are whining.

lmao communism...better leadership? better planning? how many full wars have u been in this round? if other wars didnt happen do you really think we wouldnt have scrapped the nap's and had us a fun war? with the tick war with 11 nobody really gained anything, just lost time to infra whore and randomly decide to clear systems. Only reason we're "behind" smile imo, there are lotsa good leaders, and its different for each one as situations change for each family accordingly. Whining? about having a fun round filled with wars? why would any1 whine, thats where the fun of IC lies even if you're behind in planets and nw, both can be changed in either case big_smile

FA what you chatting? you know i pwn your ass wink well all seriousness FA is good! and when i saw 03's map spot compared with 18 and 01 who had allied i was how can i put it worried lol. i saw the war happening and i saw 03's downfall, it happened with the war and the rest, then a Pnap, which was the best for 03. now i am in 03 and this is probably going to cause a lot of crap but im speaking out since i know both sides (yes yes i do!) stories. if i still had the messages i would prove that i was telling ricking to Pnap asap. no other nap since if we got bigger then we would get pwned from a cancellation. 01 and 18, in my honest opinion have one of the best pw alliance line ups there is. now who ever offered who a Pnap i do not know but i can say i don't think it was 01/18, at the time they were in a very strong position in a 2v1 with us since our allies couldn't get close enough to help. they had a big advantage but still pnapped. now with a lot of good planning and leadership and team play plus co-operation we have fought/infrawhored (we done it all pretty much) our way to the top. i don't know what all this other crap is about since i don't really care. both sides have had an advantage at one time, and right now i would say we had an advantage IF we were going to war. anything i missed since this is the longest post i done in a while, im not use to them like you FA wink tongue

That being said your family may have passed in size and NW(congratulations are in order), but that means very little, to anyone who knows anything about the game, (yes myself included, I've infra whored too, in fact its one of my specialities), I could jump to 15 mill NW right now(I'm not joking either, I really could wink) and surpass you and have my family as #1 in NW so does that mean we're the better family?  Well according to your criteria, I guess it does... wink  Our family could have been not so nice at BOR when it came to not wiping yours off the map, but we didn't, not to worry though, its obvious you either haven't been around long enough to realize honour when you see it, or you're just to naive to see the truth... the TRUTH is... that RICKING saved all your asses due to our past relationship and had I not been in our family, its conceivable yours would be a distant memory... wink  To be honest your family's lead in NW is basically fleet, look at Ricking, lol, he probably has 2.5 mill+ upkeep. If our family hadn't had the multiple Top 2-5 wars its had this round with only a semi-active family, in terms you can understand, "our fleets NW would be bigger than yours" meaning we apparently win? LOL I don't think so...and expoing 200 planets from other families' wars is hardly skill... then infra whoring and taking down 06 while they're being attacked by 18 and us (albeit only a little) + whoever else as Load already mentioned, wow, another 200 planets, so impressive I'm shocked, your skills must be so superior to keep multiple inflated fleets to make yourselves look so much ahead of everyone else in infra... wink And FYI Ricking asked me to get us a PNap, which is fine and all, but maybe he should speak here instead of having his little minions do it... tongue

@ at the rest of your post thats just how things go sometimes, i do remember portalling in your core right before you gave us the nap being small and not being able to be cleared by you guys, don't think i would have done any damage after that?

BOR is easy to hurt any fam.

and me and rick knew we would have to make relations with yoru family as soon as you allied because we wanted 18 as an ally initially. diplomacy is a big part of the game also.
