Topic: PROUD To Be WHITE!..

This e-mail does contain wording that is meant to express an open opinion to a major problem in the USA. It is estimated that only 11% of those receiving
this e-mail will read it all the way to the end. In addition, it is estimated that only 1% of non-white color will read this past this point and 99% will blow it away because of the title.

It is a shame this sentiment exists when we tell the world that the USA is the best place to Live, Worship, Work, and Play

And the whole thing is BS. Democracy is giving power to the many while protecting the minority. The majority can protect itsself and thus does not need a "whites day" or other BS for they get their "whites day" every day...

That's still 5% to many ; it is purely stupidity to just duplicate the message of someone else and to not start thinking for yourself

first of all, democracy is not protecting the minority, its mob rule. 2nd, women are the majority, get the same treatment as minorities.

i think its racist to call people african american anyways...not all africans are black you see..

as for the topic, i would say this.

I am white.

Im not proud to be white, because i dont recognize it as being any different than black or whatever other colors you count.  I dont think about my natiionality in terms of bieng better or different than anyone else in the world...its just where i live.  if someone is racist or derogitory to me, i treat it as a regular instult and i dont catagorize it as a certian type of insult. Insults are insults. 

if we were really all that different, why would we need to insult and hurt others for the differences that dont make us any different? Answer = we want to be inherently better than the person next to us, but we arnt.  The only thing that makes people better are worse are the things he does or does not do.  but in all honesty, how good or bad the person next to us is is none of our business.  Rather than trying to make someone else worse, try and make yourself better if being better is all you care about.

There's no point in having racial pride when there are no gene differences beyond basic morphology. The fact that I have white skin and an Asian person is Asian is a result of a negligible number of genes that were a result of quick adaptions to a geographic environment. Beyond these superficial morphological differences, there are no major differences in physical or mental prowess between people of supposed races.

It's not the fact that you speak against(I use the word against very loosely here) minority organizations that makes you racist, it's the fact that you feel the need to draw a distinction between these races and their organizations that make you a racist.

Who ever told you that everyone thinks only white people are racist, is lying to you.

reallybig, that post has half hit on a point but has gone totally the wrong way. The point is that it is foolish to have pride in your race, whether black, white, oriental or whatever. It is the same for nationality. How can you possibly have pride in something you didn't choose and only affects such trivial things as skin tone, eye shape or curliness of hair? Or in the case of nationality, how can you have pride in a lump of rock and mud and claim it is any better than another lump of rock and mud for the sole reason that you were born there?

The original post claims that white pride should be tolerated because black pride is. This is the wrong way around, neither should exist because race should be an irrelevant issue. Things will be right, not when there is a white pride march and a white history month but when people define themselves as people undifferentiable from other people and not by their nationality, beliefs or the colour of their skin.

Anyhow.. I am proud to be white and I am proud of my heritage. But as long as us whites are the lords and masters of this planet, we do not need White Days or White only Universities etc. They're signs of weakness.

I really don't know what you mean there. I actually think I have been around IC and (in and out) of politics forum for longer than you have. You certainly weren't around when I first came into politics forum in the year 2000.

As far as patronisation goes, that was an utter failure.

Been around since I was a kid, under different names, most of the time lurking and not taking an active role. Justinian I is Augustus, I think that was his name was at the time. He was all into Racial Teachings, Aryan lore etc. Though at times I thought he was just messing with everyone.
