As far as I can tell Wilders only shows real stuff. The movie itself isnt that horrible. Its like Biefstuk sais not breaking the law.

The fact how the islamic world reacted on this movie in the past few months sais a lot more then this movie. This just shows how narrow minded SOME important ppl in the islam are.

I wouldnt be suprised if they pay some for afghaan ppl again so they burn a Dutch flag (or atleast try it cause they fail everytime.)

arocalex it is true that interpretation and selective reading have a lot of impact on how peaceful/hateful islam seems

however even if you start cutting away some clutter islam stays a pretty disconcerting religion; for example a crucial, continually reated message of the koran is "if you do this or don't do that you will await a painful doom" and while this message is also contained in parts of the bible, the koran is litterally full of it

I find it ironic that the same world that preaches understanding and freedom of speech is trying to ban Burqas, ban mosques, and everything that is Islam related. I admit these poeple are not yet widespread.

Which countries did you visit East? Usually they just trick you into buying stuff three times the price so they are happy:p.(happening in Turkey, I look bit European so I tryed to buy something speaking only english. The guy tryed to sell me something 5 times the price. This happend in mutliple stands:p)

first of all i must say that the texts translated from the qu'ran for use in Fitna are not mistranslated or falsified in any way. However they come from a version of the qu'ran used by more radical groups. also the subtitles during the speeches come from official sources. However the Qu'ran texts are of course pulled from context, and the speeches that are shown are given by fanatical madmen. I mean if i was to represent the christian faith by using the version of the bible used by the watchtower (jehovah's witnesses) and show speeches from radical televangelists, kkk members and george W Bush christianity would probably seem to be a mighty dangerous and backward religion.

I think the biggest problem here is not the commercial (can't call 11 min a movie really), but the way people react to it. All i can say is if Allah Akhbar would be so offended by Fitna, he should sue geertje. and that muslims both in their homelands and the west should stop pointing to morons like wilders to take attention away from their own wrongdoings. I spent seven years in the middle east. and thwe biggest threat to those people is their own government

For instance lets show all the cities and all the dates which they had marches chanting "death to..." and add up the different things. Lets show all the different killings, all of them, that we can of course, that Islamists have done to other religions.
