Spending your life on a spaceship can get pretty boring from time to time, but it only gets really boring when you've got a few bodysnatchers roaming around. Sure, it sounds like adventure when they train you for it and it definitely sounds like there's not a second of boredom in such events. But Lexuzis discovered now that that wasn't true. Most of their time was spent in their rooms, trying to stay out of harm. The only action they saw was the daily lynching, but it was hardly worth the effort considering they didn't exactly kill any bodysnatchers with it. If self-preservation hadn't been on the top of his list, Lexuzis would've probably felt guilty. But right now he was just lying in his bed, thinking of home. He couldn't remember the smell of grass or the touch of soil, but he remembered every blade of grass and every grain of earth around his house as if he was standing in the middle of it all. These memories of home were so captivating that he didn't notice the hissing sound or the smell of gas coming in from under the door. As he started to become drowsy, the door opened and a man with a gasmask walked in. But Lexuzis was already too intoxicated to put up a fight when the man lifted him up and carried him out of the room.

Waking up, Lexuzis found himself in complete darkness. His hands and feet were bound, but it would've hardly mattered, because the space in which he was confined was barely wide enough for him. It was as if he had been stuck in a sort of pipe. Just outside his new prison, he heard footsteps approaching. When the footsteps stopped, a hand knocked on the exterior of the pipe in which he was caught. The alien hissed and uttered a few words in its own language, before moving again. Suddenly, Lexuzis realised what his prison was. Through these pipes, steam was transported through the entire ship! With all his might, he started to fight to get out of his predicament, but it was already too late as he heard the alien start the machine. In just a few minutes, steam would come raging through this pipe. The only evidence of Lexuzis death was an unearthly scream of pain and a few symbols, written in blood on the steam pipe. Next to the pipe, the bodysnatcher dropped the name tag that read "Lexuzis - CREW MEMBER". Another innocent man had died.

Watching Lexuzis' death from only a few metres distance was the insane crew member. He hesitated to stop the bodysnatcher's attempt to kill yet someone else, but now that the alien had finished its job his moment had come. He grabbed hold of his axe and followed the bodysnatcher as it left the room. Fearing it would return to its queen, the mother superior, the insane crew member knew he had to be quick. At a certain point, the alien suddenly turned left behind some barrels. When the insane crew member caught up with it, he noticed there was a flight of stairs going down. The alien was halfway, so there was no time to lose. He threw his axe aside and pushed a barrel down the stairs and while it was still falling down, he already got hold of the next one and pushed it down too. In the chaos of noise that followed, the alien ended up on the bottom of the stairs, stuck under a barrel and breathing heavily. Blood was pouring out of a nasty headwound and it had trouble moving from under the barrel.

"You're not getting away, son of a.." The insane crew member took his axe again and ran down the stairs where the alien had managed to turn around, from lying on his stomach to lying on his back. It took him his left leg which was still stuck under the barrel and which cracked with a sickening sound. Staring into the eyes of the insane crew member, it spit out blood and cursed. Inside the stomach, the bodysnatcher started to move, planning to leave its husk to kill this pathetic human who dared to attack it. But the insane crew member didn't wait for that to happen. With a single, forceful blow, he cut off the alien's head. As the head was still rolling on the floor, he already started to cut into the stomach, making sure nothing of the alien was left in one piece. When the head stopped rolling, it revealed the face of evilsheep. This bodysnatcher would snatch no more.
