Topic: ** Tough Times Ahead **

Ok, so we have:

- rising (though now simmering) tensions between India/Pakistan
- Israel killing palestinian children
- Turkey pissed at Israel
- N. Korea cancels NAP with S. Korea
- World-wide fears of recession
- Massive reduction in global outputs

As well as:
- The Vatican reemploys (I think?) 'traditionalists' who deny the holocaust
- Increased ties between Russia and Cuba + South America
- Piracy off Somalia is at an all time high
- Mugabe still hasn't given up power (time for an intervention?)


What do you all think?

Honestly not really much to do.

ugh, I wish I knew what we could do. They will just forever hate each other. They're like the equivalent of black/white americans. They just won't find a way to blend. They need their own Obama!

The vatican has always been shady really. They operate on their own terms.

Yeah, we need to sever our trade bans with Cuba and start reaching out more to Russia if possible.

Time to employ my usual criticism of threads like this:


Skoe, this is a bullshit thread.  You've got 10 topics in one thread.  Basically, your topic is "it sucks being alive."  You will never be able to get a good debate here, because they either debate every issue, in which case you end up with a muddled up thread and with people talking about issues they don't give a shit about, or you cause people to skip particular issues and only talk about what they want, which means nobody could ever decipher what the hell is going on in this thread, and you once again get a bad debate.


This thread can't result in a political discussion by merit of being inherently flawed, and thus is justified in being declared spam within the politics forum, since the purpose of the politics forum is debate on political issues.
