Topic: I have a question...

a survey if you will.

I was just wondering, what would attract you to another person or possibly deter you from another person? Friendship wise. Like say you and I started our first days at the same job together and we had the same days off and worked the same shifts. What would probably weigh more to you as far as attracting you to me or pushing me away from you?

A. My race?

B. My gender?

C. My political stance

D. My sports interests

E. My sexuality

F. My sex appeal(or lack of)

G. My attire

H. My religion

I. Something else

Try to pick one thing that would draw you to the person the most and one that would probably push you away

Sex without the e is still SX!

Re: I have a question...

Draw me to the person:
I.

Push me away:
I.

Re: I have a question...

ZOMG! Nolio! You're that dude 3 cubicles down that always smells like bad BO  mixed with rotten snatch!

Re: I have a question...

Hmm, many things depend upon other things in the list though

Like gender and sex appeal, if the person is male, i wouldn't give a rats ass about his sex-appeal, but if the person is female, well you get the picture.

Also, i don't care too much about religion, and i don't care if other people practise it or not, but if that person is really fanatic in it, it might drive me away from them

Re: I have a question...

You treat friends, people who are not mates or potential mates, differently based upon their sex appeal? Isn't that like the definition of "asshole"?

I'm so tired of these phonies who only like me 'cause I'm hot. I waste so much of my life figuring out who's for real and who's for sale.

Re: I have a question...

Besides you're gender everything else combines to become, then define your personality which would be the deciding factor.

Its no fun until someone dies.
Cos I need to watch things die.

Re: I have a question...

Draw me to the person:

I. Something else.
The ability to hold an intelligent conversation without being arrogant, the ability to hold a silly conversation without being dumb, and the power of logical thought.

Push me away:

  D. My sports interests
... would only push me away if you were excessive or obsessive. "Hey, look! I got this seasons' new kit a day early." "It looks the same as the old one. How much was it?" "

"So, it's defeat for you, is it? Someday I must meet a similar fate..."

Re: I have a question...

Sports interests would attract me to be friends with someone if they had the same interests as me as it would give us something to talk about, and they could possibly join the same sports clubs and have a shared hobby

On first impression, clothes could either attract or deter me. This seems narrow minded but a lot of the time people wear certain clothes as a statement, so I don't think interpreting that statement is really that silly a thing to do. For example, I would probably not really want to talk to someone dressed as a goth because I would (rightly or wrongly) judge someone dressed as a goth to be an immature attention seeker with a chip on his/her shoulder. Equally I would judge someone dressed head to toe in Topman (or whatever equivalent is in other countries) to have the fatal combination of taking themselves too seriously without actually having the ability to form opinions for themselves.

I can get along fine with people with different political stances and religious views, just so long as we don't talk about it tongue

Things like race, sexuality and physical appearance just don't come into it at all

Re: I have a question...

A. My race? I am Asian (Chinese), Italian, and part mystery oooOOOooo

B. My gender? I am male (or so I am told)

C. My political stance I firmly believe in Democrats, but Republican's have some good points too

D. My sports interests I'm not a sports fan (overly so)

E. My sexuality I'm as straight as a carpenter's ruler XD

F. My sex appeal(or lack thereof)  IT'S TRUE!!! X( :'(

G. My attire I wear very casual and semi-formal clothing more often than not. Semi formal for work though. I only wear formal clothing when the situation calls for it, or unless I receive a call from 007

H. My religion I don't know. Haven't figured it out

I. Something else I like big butts and I cannot lie?

he s afraid of being humpled by a gay friend who might fall in love with him smile

till the end of time..

Re: I have a question...

Looks generally do matter, as a rule, if i see a nice looking girl, it gets my attention.

Then maybe id try speak with her, and if i can make her laugh ,yeh fokker generally by being silly without seeming dumb, then i guess im halfway there to getting a date..

sense of humour is required around me because i joke around alot and if they have none, it could become awkward.. if theyre stuck up. big turnoff

though in order to just get 'in' ,, i can change my approach to whoever im going for really i guess, and if im genuinely interested then id be myself..

alot of girls dont even deserve ur time of day, brushing you off when you are genuine, and it makes it difficult to decide whether to try or not

Re: I have a question...

i would say i like to get along with everyone....

and thats wah draws me to people..nothing to do with the person, more to do with me...but its a bonus if they give off good energy...and if they dont mind my quarkieness and wierd thinking

and what pushes me away

um..thats a hard one, since the few that i have sepereaetd myself from are very specialized cases that dont really fit into these categories..

Re: I have a question...

Yeah! You tell 'em!

I only like the female quarks. And yes sexuality matters. Gay guys hit on me all the time. Not gonna form a lasting friendship there. This ain't the '80s but I'm still down with the ladies. Just not gonna work.

Re: I have a question...

Wow. Long time no disgust. You haven't gotten any brighter. Sex appeal is the main difference between normal healthy working people and hobos? No. It is not.
