That attitude was present with bush too, I was just much younger and didn't really care for politics.
But over the years I observed and judged Bush solely on his actions during his administration.
Is it not enough for a man to get into Harvard with a scholarship, accomplish great things in his time there, graduate from one of the most rigorous programs in the world and write two-best selling books?

a nation that elects George W. Bush for 2 terms has indeed serious problems in political culture.
Obama is indeed praised as a second "Messiah" and his inauguration has something of a triumph in the ancient roman empire, when a military leader got a parade as a tribute for his victory. in former times a slave stood behind the military always telling him, that he is just a mere human and not a god. but who tells this Obama than?
Bush did a great job. Congress supported everything he set out to do...... accept Social Security Reform and one of his Supreme Court picks.
Other than that.....they voted all in.
Congressional leaders, even republicans, and the media can bash him all they want......... He was a two-term President.

The man has his chance, Primo. It's not like we can deny him that it is his legal obligation now. However, we are excercising, right to speak out against his decisions, an act that we have learned very well from listening to the liberals over the last 8 years.
It doesnt matter that Obamy isn't in office yet. He has made choices that will affect us ALREADY! He picked Bill Clinton's wife to be secretary of state and appointed someone with no experience to the CIA. After he takes office there will be a whole plethora of NEW things to discus.

because it's a significant event in the history of your country? This will be this generation's equivalent of "I remember where I was when Kennedy was shot" It ensures that old people will always be able to annoy young people with pointless stories about an event that, while significant at the time, nobody cares about anymore. Alternatively the school realizes the kids aren't going to learn anything anyway, bunch of doped up mental defectives that they are, so why not just plop them in front of a TV to shut them up. it's 50:50 really...ok maybe 30:70

As for what change Obama will bring who knows. If I'm not mistaken the President does have SOME level of power over his Cabinet after he's in office. Could be he just wanted to keep Clinton and her people in positions where he could excercise a certain measure of control over them rather than letting them run freely in Congress, the Senate, what have you; causing him problems.
