Just an idea I had late last night to try and boost activity, perhaps even attract new blood. Personally I'd be happy if people just read it, but now I'm jabbering:
An IC story or Roleplay, something fairly simple, with a definite goal, that would be both fun to read and play? I know we have "Space" but after three parts I don't think it's very n00b friendly anymore.
We had one of these 
. And questions was uber good in. Or was it algebra, dunno, i forgot . But it died when I went away and einstein had problems(he was dealing with it)
like show them how to write?
So you mean figrunning, ground running, expo research jump?
Or simply teach them how to actually RP, show them the ropes so they can jump into the "newbie unfriendly' RPs such as Space.
And idk if Space is unfriendly towards newbies, seeing as how it was where I started

It may be putting off for noobs now, but before the forum re-do it wasn't. Maybe cause me, Aro and Nai joined kind of raised the bar :\
I believe most readers would rather appreciate having a higher bar. Means the content is more engaging, more imaginative thus the reason why we have like 30 times more reads than the second most read thread in RP forum.
In fact, I say lets make sure it stays that way, our readers seem to expect it of us.

I'd rather have a lower bar with more players, then a high bar with more readers.
I swear you guys just love saying whever is opposite to what I say... wth!
We couldnt lower the bar if we even wanted to now. Only new RP's can help
I have a theory:
Space has more reads than any other thread on the board because the active players within the RP constantly check an re-check for new posts, thus artificially inflating the numbers.
And as for "Do we even have any n00bs?":
To my knowledge we do not, which kind of proves my point.
Obviously fokker, thats just commom sense. But I do believe we got 1 or 2 readers. But I dont do this for them perse. But for my own amusement aswell as those who participate
yeah right :p.
On subject, how would we proceed with this.?
seriously, how do you write role play story with many people? Ive never done that before.

hmm, That should be lesson one. To know how much to write, the general direction, knowing when to stop etc.
Ok, so from my understanding, people write their own stories, really, and rarely do the players' characters actually interact. How can they? How do you make your post 'interactive' with another's?
