This is exactly what happened, if you don't mind me clarify.

I came online one day, feeling joyous, only to find the leader of our allies, Load, amidst of a tough situation. Upon closer inquiry, I was told that the KISS ASS family has offered an ultimatum to them with two options, either PNAP or war, compounded with threats that they will raid our allies bankers. Upon hearing that, I immediately insisted that there will NEVER be a PNAP with their family without first war, of course Load's eyes sparkled in agreement. I then proceeded to attempt to speak to RICKING on MSN, inquiring on possibility of signing a 48hr NAP instead and received virtually all negative responses, so at that point I declared "let's make it official, 2v2" and RICKING was speechless (did not respond).

Our alliance immediately got planning, wasting no time risking the possibility of getting strike first (of course we have intels of their attackers at all times, and they have acquired a large amount of bombers very early in the game). We quickly discovered that all bankers in 03 barring one does not have adequate defenses, or any defenses really. We quickly send out fleets and eagerly await their arrival. After a few ticks of waiting, our fleets finally arrived, and we quickly found that our targets have added a few lasers on their planets. Slightly annoyed, we once again send out fleets to attack and this time it finally strikes home. You could say it was our fam that instigated the war but in reality, it was just in self defense to the threat posted by the KISS ASSes.

At this point, I finally went to bed, but still slightless restless. When I woke up, I had discovered that one of the bigger banker of KISS ASSes had deleted with no warning (granted, it was the one that lost the most planets). Feeling a little better about the situation, I told FA to speak to RICKING because he was leader at the time to inquire whether it is possible to NAP at that point and resolve the issue later, and RICKING's response to FA was that he's jumping his THREE attacker's bombers. So we proceeded to coordinate with our allies to send fleet to those poor KISS ASS bankers.

From here on out, I can only say that our family lost interest in hitting 03 due to distance and the fact that it was the holidays and people were busy taking care of their real life business. Our allies, however, kept up the pressure and acquired a gem along the way, Sol Invictus, to help them finally break down 03 once and for all. In the end, PNAP was signed between 03 and 18 and all has returned to normal.

So the claim that I had offered countless NAPs is indeed inaccurate, however I did have the intention to, preventing this from escalating into a big deal. However, RICKING was uninterested at every attempt we've made, thus a deal was never reached. The war has taken a toll on both families, with our allies emerging as clear winners despite the fact that both families ended on the lower spectrum of the top 10 in rankings. I think this is indisputable. So Congratulations 03, for battling an uphill battle. (For those of you that were not aware, 03 was second in NW and 18 was somewhere in third or fourth after an early conflict with 12 and battling inactivity as it is).

What's interesting is that 03 wants to go round two with us (01). We know where you are flipmode and we're not gonna let you off the hook
