Re: racism

really? so if one or two people dont want such a thread open, all they have to do is flame in it, and you being the dumbass you are will close the entire thread. because thats basically what your post is doing, telling people, that they can close this thread if they want by flaming.

Re: racism

This is not just a topic, seeing this comes from Deci; I think it's safe to assume his only motive is to stir people up. If this thread turns out to be a flamefest or not a proper discussion; yes, it'll be closed.. This is a case to case approach avo. If that doesn't suit you, dear lad, come complaining in #forum wink.

EDIT: oops wrong channel

God: Behold ye angels, I have created the ass.. Throughout the ages to come men and women shall grab hold of these and shout my name...

Re: racism

stirring people up is what alot of debate is about. stirring people up brakes no forum rules. also, the channel you gave has me banned despite me never being in it; convenient, isnt it? you are jsut full of deception, arent you?

Re: racism

Trolling is against the forum rules, insulting is and racism is as well. Well, I'm merely saying the discussion is allowed but that it's being closely watched and that people who cross certain boundaries will be punished accordingly... If this thread is no discussion, but just a place to flame or spout racism, it has to go... Is that all so hard to understand?

God: Behold ye angels, I have created the ass.. Throughout the ages to come men and women shall grab hold of these and shout my name...

Re: racism

please arnor, why do you insist on spamming threads with topics unrelated? if you have a problem, talk to me on mirc, leave these innocent forum posters be.

Re: racism

Now now, claiming I'm sidetracking the topic is silly. continue now. The rules are set, that's all...

God: Behold ye angels, I have created the ass.. Throughout the ages to come men and women shall grab hold of these and shout my name...

Re: racism

Judge a man not by his culture but by the severity and repetition of his [failings].

And PS: We are all racist to a degree. It has alot to do with a lack of multi-cultural integration, something that if you miss out on you are less likely to be sympathetic to other cultures -- and thus more likely to discriminate.

Re: racism

Avo, yes.

Skoe, culture causes the habits that cause the propensity for certain behaviors. Such behaviors can cause failed or inefficient means for satisfying an acceptable role in society. So yes, people can be judged by their culture.

Re: racism

Elaborate without trying to use big words, Justinian. Your ability to convey meaning in that message is quite lacking.

Re: racism

Fine, Mr.English is a second language.

Culture ----> Behavior
Behavior ----> (conditionally) failed or inefficient ways of satisfying an acceptable role in society.

In other words

If C, then B
If B, then possibly F

It is the result of F (failure to live an acceptable role in society) that makes C (culture) subject to being judged.

Oh. I thought he was Swedish.

Re: racism

So your saying that the actions of the individual are influenced by his culture and thus people outside of that culture will judge those within the culture?

Re: racism

Pretty much

Re: racism

Then why didn't you just say that? tongue.

If you are positively influenced by a culture you are more likely to attribute bad behavior through the individual, rather then the group. This means that the individual will be socially punished, not the group. Which is basically what i said back in post #36.

Re: racism

deci, as Justinian pointed out, you divide the people into groops but there is no red line to draw in their capabilities. Lol, you're funny as ever tongue

Re: racism

I don't see myself as a racist as I get on with almost anyone regardless of race or creed, I have many friends at university who come from Pakistan / India / Malaysia etc and I get along with them fine, some more than white people.

I live in the UK and we have many ethnic minority people living here, out of all of these people who have moved to the UK there is one set that I absolutely detest if not F****** hate. The reason why is this:

Italians - they come here and establish business i.e. restaurants
Pakistanis- same as above + takeaway curry houses
Bangladeshi's- same as Pakistani
Indians - Run corner shops / off licenses / pharmacies
Chinese - same as the Italians / Pakistanis and Bangladeshi's
Polish - migrant workers who establish their own communities and shops etc
Iraqi - Taxi Drivers / Doctors
Malaysian - Health professional
Afghanistani - Same as Iraqi

What do all the above have in common? tehy all come here and they all work and they all contribute to the UK tax collection.

Moving on, the race / country / people that I hate are the Somali people who come here, they don't work, they take from the government and they don't contribute to society at all and that is why I hate them, bunch of freeloading twats that take my taxes and don't do anything to deserve the handouts that I have contributed to.

Re: racism

Skoe,

Ughr, but you can judge the group if the group's culture conditions a set of behaviors that are negative.

Death,

Yeah Somalis tend to be the same way here in the US too. There are exceptions as always, but there is a large distribution of those who are just parasitic.

Re: racism

A case for racism can only be made in a society with darwinistic beliefs. If any species offspring varied through decent with modification then it would have to stand that some individuals would be better fit because of their genetics.
Taking into account that skin color is genetic, if you believed in Darwin's Ideas you would fit the definition of racist. For Darwin's ideas to be remotely feasible you would have to believe that different genes make one person and their decendents more fit then another person and their decendents.

A case could not be made for racism in a Christian society.

I think you misunderstand the connection between racism and darwinism.

Re: racism

you guys should all get together and set up those....ohhh what are they called? oh yeah! concentration camps! those, and maybe a reservation here and there.  yeah, that seems to fit this bunch pretty well.  have fun you costume wearing klan members.
