All I'm trying to say is that there could be a whole bunch of things that could explain it, and that it's pointless as we have no idea who or when the footage was shot. Yet, the youtube idiots immediatly seem to look into the corner of UFOs (it'll be only a matter of timebefore someone utters it) tongue

The vid was made by a spanish physic student using D/W (a programme you can use to give vids the 'old' effect, http://www.thepluginsite.com/products/photowiz/bwstyler/index.htm). Maybe that shoots down your 'different frame rates etc' theory yikes. He thinks it may be a Iridium satellite, which is a good guess.
