Hi just curious,
Wondering whether it should be
50% income
30% research
40% pop
TO
or if a different combination works. Let me know which one is most common and why...
the only other combination i could see is one with 30% pop and 40% research.....
OR a drop of research to increase pop
OR possibly a drop in pop and picking up a skill like place nuke and vision both of which could help just for added checks i suppose
Give me some pointers please.

In order to get research upto 50% id have to drop pop to 20%
So I dont know if that is good for a pop banker.....wouldnt you want a faster growth?
at 20% you might as well drop the whole pop growth and pick up 4 spells and be more useful that way.
Actually by the looks of it it seems that due to shorter rounds and all that CF banking is better,
So maybe someone could help me with that.
Currently looking at
50/50 income/research
To
pop growth normal just incase i decide to switch over
and then pick up
4 ops ...or drop pop to neg 30 and pick up 10 ops.
what do people think?
CF is better definitely, pop banking is stupid. Dunno what race you should get 
a 0-10% pop growth bonus would have been fine. You're pop will grown in no matter how fast you put it. And once planets are maxed you'll gain pop quick enough with a lower bonus. Your income and research bonus are more important long term.
what about Revalons?

At 10% pop growth, wouldnt it just better to not even pick up pop growth and get more ops?

but to elaborate on your question abit more, Revalons come with 60% income which is the highest income that you can get in the game. Thus if you want full blown income weither it be cf or pop, thats the way to go. With 30% research, it works pretty much as good as 50% believe it or not without ever missing a beat. at 10% pop growth, that's all that is needed, because once your pop starts growing you'll notice it'll build fast and your main problem will be keeping it growing without having it stop. So in conclusion, if your family is covered with ops, go revalons as a banker

Income 50%
Research 40%
Pop 10%

Spells : nukes, infiltrate, plist, SA
Differences of -10% income, +10% reserach, -20% magic and I think more valueble skills that can be used in a family...
Any coments?

Pop banking is only worthwhile if your fam is good enough to keep you supplied with planets and protect you effectively, the better your fam is the more effectiveness you get out of a pop banker late round. Or atleast thats my opinion,

bear in mind magic bonus only goes for attacking and not defending.

i have always stuck with CF/TO because it is the easiest and best way to get your income quickly when it is in need, regularly i have exceeded that of pop bankers, because the rounds are too short

Revalons is the best pop banking race ...

Revs don't have SA.. that is there ONLY banking shortcoming. If you have a family that is productive enough and active enough throughout the round you can over come this excess cost of exploring.. Nevertheless, I prefer a banking race with 50% income and SA to Revalons MOST of the time.
