"It's nothing like the Resident Evil Games."

My friend has recently viewed Resident Evil: Extinction, and they didn't like it. Fair enough, lots of people don't like it or any of the RE film series, and I can understand that. What I don't understand how someone can repeatedly make the same damn mistake three times, and use the same whine three times as a result.

"Who the **** is Alice? She wasn't in the game."

Ok, with the first RE film I can understand some people walking into the theater expecting a carbon copy of the game. I still think doing so is stupid but I can understand people making this mistake once.
I myself did not make this mistake, I knew that a carbon copy of the game would be the most boring 90 minutes of screen time ever and so was expecting nothing more than a very expensive B movie.
As a result I found the film most enjoyable.

"Nemesis is supposed to use a Rocket Launcher."

Then people watched the second film, making the same damned mistake.
How hard can it really be to suspend belief for 90 minutes and just enjoy watching people get eaten by Zombie children and nuns while big men who can't act look hard with guns?

"Why does she have psychic powers now. That's not in the games. That's not Resident Evil."

Congratu-****ing-lations, you finally got it. Now turn your brain off and watch the A-cup in the leather pants turn the sky into fire.
