Topic: Xmas Mafia 2008!!

Ho ho ho!

T'is the season to be jolly and it is also time to murder some elves! Yes, Christmas Mafia is back!

As usual, the following are the list of characters. These will be allocated to players who sign up randomly using the Excel rand() function!
7 x Naughty Elves (including the Grinch and 1 secret pro-mafia role)
1 x Santa
1 x Mrs Claus
2 x Santa's Little Helpers
1 x Scrooge
1 x Jack Frost
1 x Secret Role (Pro-town alliance)
1 x Secret Role (alliance unknown)
7 x Nice Elves

Only the Grinch and naughty elves will know who the other naughty elves are. Everyone else will be in the dark.

NIGHT PHASE - WHO DOES WHAT?
Each phase of the game begins with the night. The following can happen during this time:
- The Grinch, together with his naughty elves, will decide one elf to kill. He will also choose which one of them will conduct the kill.
- The Grinch is the leader of the naughty elves. He therefore has final say in any mafia night kill decision. He will also appear to be innocent to Santa's Little Helper investigations and is immune to being killed at night.
- Scrooge is a serial killer who chooses one person to kill per night.
- Santa

Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...

I know ZoZ, but it never hurts to try. It's most frustrating to get killed so early on over and over again, but on the other hand, it's a fabulous game. Anyhoo, seeing I won't have much time, I'll think it's best I don't participate. I aksed arsy to disregard my application...

With his scarf wrapped high around his neck he walked through the blizzard. Though the winds were icy cold, it did not bother him as he was used to much worse. After a short walk he reached his goal.

He walked past the old and crumbled stones until he came by a number of gravestones. This was the place the town had buried those faithful elves who had died 12 months back during the fight between good and naughty.

He arrived at the stone that was covered with the most flowers. Some old and decayed ones, but most were fresh. On the grave stood the following line:"Here lies Santa. If there is love in your heart, everyday can be like Christmas".

The man grinned and spat on the grave. If his ideas went according to plan, soon there would be another grave here for another Santa - his father.

It was true. The Santa who was sitting happily at the head of Lapland was once an evil Grinch.
He was brought up to believe that Christmas was the root of all goodness and had to be stopped. He looked up to his father as he plotted against Santa Claus and his band of merry elves. He wanted to be just like him.

However, just 12 months earlier having killed Santa and most of his helpers, his father did the unexpected and betrayed his own flesh and blood. His own son! He took over Santa's place as Father Christmas and joined his troops, forgetting all about his son. But soon, he would get what was coming to him. Happy Santa for now, but this year the elves wont have a Xmas to celebrate.

The new Grinch threw away his cigarette and walked to his hideout. His men were waiting and there was a lot of work ahead.
