Re: oil@40

well here in canada, with the CAW
it's against the law, or atleast the contract for you to fire workers top..down

to go against that would probably be going against everything unions stand for anyways...so why have them then?
they can shred unions apart..so they never run into this ever again... big_smile

i bet it was a provision in the newest contract that let them do it, because the big three were doing so horribly.

1. It's called sarcasm.
2. They are CEO's, and pretty ignorant ones at that, i read several articles about the big 3 CEO's that just made me gasp in amusement, in how stupid they are in fact, they are figure heads and nothing more, they are simply relaying figures, and understands relied to them from their CFO's and heads of several different accountant firms, i wouldn't honestly put ANY stock in their knowledge of their own companies, typical it's handled by boards of executives.. the CEOS are just Political morons - Hence why they are in need the money to begin with.

You sir, are Ignored, and have been.

/facepalm. dont try sarcasm, its too complicated for you. if what was said was sarcastic, you would mean that the ceo's are extremely knowledgeable about their companies. i think what you meant was you were using hyperbole. that would make more sense.

well, i dont know what article you meant, so i'll just have to smile in amusment about what the ex-marine that was kicked out because he was physiologically unstable thinks about the integrity of the big 3's CEO's.

Please don't assume you know anything about my discharge.. and sorry if you couldn't understand my post, ill work on it with Crayons and big pieces of construction paper for you smile

Hank Paulson has a degree in English.

I'm not sure how that makes him an Expert in Economics but I guess its not what you know but who you know.

Re: oil@40

Now I see how an English Degreee can be an asset.

Re: oil@40

yes oil is rising again, but not at the speed of light. But if you calc the inflation, it can't do anything but go up. Think about it, it can't be as cheap as during the times when there was pure oil spouting out of the ground when you were digging a whole at the wrong place. Going under 30$ it will go under the production cost.

Re: oil@40

If you have a tanker with a million barrels that nobody wants the price can go a long way below what it cost to get it out of the ground

Re: oil@40

What you say makes sense, but even this effect has its limits. The time between production and consumption is not that long economically speaking.

Re: oil@40

yeah but then you count the gas prices, not the prices per barel

Re: oil@40

I wonder if the price goes back up when inflation kicks in.

The inmates are running the asylum

Re: oil@40

kicks in? @5% its already kicking hmm -even thought it might get worse

Re: oil@40

oil@45 again. I missed the boat :'(

Re: oil@40

I predict 25 dollars a barrel for the high, 15 a barrel for a low. You have no clue how big this economic crash is going to be. I am just coming to grips with how bad it will be, and thats before Obama even starts with 1 of his idiotic ideas. Well I guess he already proposed one to be effected as it stands. The Child President has offered us all $500 a year, oh my we must rejoice! (/sarcasm)

Everything bad in the economy is now Obama's fault. Every job lost, all the debt, all the lost retirement funds. All Obama. Are you happy now? We all get to blame Obama!

Re: oil@40

oil will go down again but from 35  to 50 was a buy/sell operation I shouldn't have missed  hmm When it goes down again believe me I won't miss the boat again!

Re: oil@40

hmmmm.....  Imagine.

Oil below 50.... unreal.

I STILL maintain oil is economically stable at 50 per.
Thats about $2.10 a gallon for gas in NY.
About 1.65 per gal of heating oil.

Nothing wrong with that.

As I said before.

Thanks to GW Bush, the big oil companies, and to the evil speculators for driving the price down.
