Fokker wasn't joking. What he posted was supposed to be a joke. It was supposed to be a joke based upon the ridiculousness of "reasons gay marriage will ruin society." Obviously they were not meant seriously (ie literally). But he obviously thought they had some amount of a point to them, otherwise they would be neither humorous or relevant.

What he pasted was supposed to be funny because it's SO ridiculous all these CRAZY reasons people have to object to gay marriage.

How could you make a case for promotion of homosexual behaviors from an evolutionary standpoint? Behaviors that inhibit succesful reproduction are obviously not healthy for the species. By your own belief system same sex couples should marry and then die.

That's an interesting idea if homosexuality was inherited genetically.
