I cried when I had no shoes...
This guy is obviously a rich Iraqi, he had shoes, and must be very rich too, he can afford to throw them away.
And they were size 44! (euro size)
Would've hurt if he had caught them in the face!
Obama would have deflected the shoes with his magic aura
then the shoes would have been detained by his national defense force for hate crimes
Did they find out if he bought the shoes in Iran yet?
gladiator's maturity?
avo, how about you stfu and not get me started, who ever said that i watched the news clip that was provided in the original post?
Before posting here, i did make another thread with the same news, offcourse not realizing that I wasn't the first one to make a thread for this topic. I watched a short, 14 second or so clip, provided by CBS, and they mentioned no where what the reporter who threw the shoe said.
Second point, thanks for pointing out that the clip in the OP states what the reporter said before throwing the shoe, i will probably now go watch that part
.
BTW, i don't know if you guys heard but apparently this reporter who threw the shoe was actually kidnaped and tortured just a few weeks ago. My question would then be, how stupid do you have to be, or how arrogant/cocky do you have to be to think that a guy who was just tortured wouldn't be atleast tempted to do something crazy to someone he probably blames for this whole mess?
I'm not sure if he was tortured by "terrorrists" or american investigators, but either way, he's prone to blame bush like we all do.
Really stupid of who ever was incharge of choosing the journalists though.. really stupid.
Its not torture when American investigators do it, get with the program.
And what do I have to do around here to get negative tag points, god knows I've tried for 6 years now.
This is politics. You can post on things you know nothing about then defend your self-righteous willful ignorance and all you get is looked down on as a fool.

LOL
"This is politics. You can post on things you know nothing about then defend your self-righteous willful ignorance and all you get is looked down on as a fool."
Damn, some people do that and get looked up to like they are genius
Naw, only retards value the judgement of other retards. ![]()
Unless you live in a democratic nation in which the retards can vote. Then they become President Obama! OH SNAP!

well, maybe you should check out the OP before posting in the thread?
and you're welcome ![]()

negative tag points are obtained by getting on good terms with the moderators. its basically a brown nosing reward. if you help everyone out and dont get friendly with the mods you get a posetive point tag, if you help everyone out while giving arsy a BJ, you get a "cool" negative tag.
I haven't had time to read this thread but god bless bush for giving shoes to iraqis
Avo,
Thanks for the advice but i'm quite sure i won't be using it. ![]()
anyways, no one responded to my initial question of the stupidity of the person who picked the journalist or about the journalist being tortured.
But this prooves something i've said for a long time on this forum that Iraqis are only doing what they're doing out of anger and revenge.
The longer we stay in Iraq, the more terrorists we'll brew.
Oh not the Dental Assistant theory of Jihad
"Achmed woulda been a dental assistant but the Americans came and burning oil rained down on his goats. As their screams filled his ears he swore a jihad on you"
I hope they voice their hatred for their new freedom in all kinds of ways they'd have been killed for before the USA gave them their new government. History will judge the heathens more objectively than many today.
vkemp, even if Bush tried to do the right thing, you have to admit(but off course it's a matter of opinion) that more bad than good was done
sure a new government...
but i also see the thousands of new terrorrists
thousands of orphans
thousands of widowed women
thousands of dead innocent people
you have to admit, it was a mistake to enter Iraq...
we would have been spared billions of tax payer dollars
and thousands of people would still be alive
and we wouldn't have thousands of new terrorrists
A screw up in intelligence is WHY you entered Iraq
. Now the cost is on America, the blame is on America, Saddam has been taken care of, etc. Easy win from my point of view.
That being said, now Iran no longer has that thorn in its side :S. Unless the U.S. builds Iraq up AGAIN...In which case the whole thing will happen all over again.
a screw up?
i'm quite sure they knew there weren't any WMDS
the wmd's werent why we entered Iraq, it was a justification to enter Iraq, big difference...
I don't like Bush, Gladiator. I have political and moral disagreements with him on all sorts of issues. I posted what I posted. Try reading it and responding to it rather than responding with some unrelated garbage about Bush in response. We're not on 2 teams. I'm not on TEAM BUSH and you're not on TEAM COMMIE. Because I just ripped about the hypocrisy of TEAM COMMIE doesn't mean returning fire on TEAM BUSH will even us out. Do you get how nonsensical this is? Yeah, that's the point.
Personally, I would not have made the choice to go into Iraq.
That said; personally, I would rather die free than live in bondage.
Saddam had weapons which were move before the US invasion. Hell, he even used them before. It's a shame our media is worth about as much as your uneducated and uninformed 2 cents. ![]()
