Yup. They teach that he was a naturalized US citizen born in Germany, who fled to the US to escape those Nazis.

well partly right.. but he did not really flee to the US. Until the Nazis took over power he spent half a year in Berlin, half a year in the US.
When Nazis took power they took citizenship away from him. Also he made all his big discoveries while he was European.. (German.. Swiss... Austrian... he was it all).
He got US citizenship in 1940. He kept his Swiss Nationality the same time.
he died 1955 so he was US citizen for his last 15 years.
Now claiming all his discoveries were made by an american is just not correct
while he did those discoveries he was not. they had been based on european education and culture.

im not sure what its like atm, but acouple years ago, the US civilians spent more per capita on charity then any other nation. also, maybe americans shy away from aiding 3rd world countries because most of the time some warlord hordes the aid and it does no good?
but you dutchies should be proud of aiding warlords that oppress impoverished people more then anyone else

i have 2 of the 3 things 
i use a recliner worth around $400 that i use for computer use. and i bought a 24" monitor widescreen (1920x1200) alittle over a year ago. i dont have an awesome Klipsch sound system though my roomate wouldnt approve, we have different taste in music, i just use headphones.

Ive only got a 22" flat screen, and a 19". I guess that means i have a 41" though .
Don't your schools teach you geometry? You need to learn to calculate area.
and we said WIDESCREEN flatscreen. Gotta have the right proportions!
22" LCDs are always widescreen.
And yeah, its been a while since i have done any maths .
