the eggs symbolises new life

as for the bunny... its the bunny's special day. It means if you get a bunny at easter it will be best suited for eating at Xmas!

it's because the crowd that was there to enjoy the crucifixion ceremony brought eggs to throw at jesus. after a crucifixion, it was customary to eat roasted rabbit with small onions. why, i don't know. but those two incidents sort of got fused together as time went on, and now we eat chocolate eggs supposedly brought by a bunny. funny world.

Confirmation is for sissies and altar boys.

Easter has commonly been associated with the Goddess Astoreth, the female ancient Goddess of sex and fertility. Perhaps that can throw in some light as to why bunnies (don't they multiply rapidly?) and eggs (fertility), and whatever else =P.

That's what I've heard, really, I have no idea, I just thought it'd be interesting to put in here, but anyway smile
