Re: What about Thailand?

they need to make a live-action care bears movie.

In thailand.  (oooohh on topic!)

The core joke of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is that of course no civilization would develop personal computers with instant remote database recovery, and then waste this technology to find good drinks.
Steve Jobs has ruined this joke.

Re: What about Thailand?

Well, to answer your question Nemeara,

People in Thailand seem to have used passive resistance to prompt their judiciary to force a change in government, a rare occurrence in world history.

I thought it would have been picked up on in another thread, but couldn't find one.

Re: What about Thailand?

occupying major buildings and smashing police cars are NOT passive resistance

the whole crisis looks more like city people not dealing with the fact that people from the rural areas can vote too...

Re: What about Thailand?

smile occupying major buildings

sad This could be passive resistance.

smile smashing police cars are NOT passive resistance

sad Perhaps this is a little too far.  Vandalism is not passive resistance.  But could you give a reference for this?  Any source?  I have not heard of any smashing of police cars.
