what about allies?

The sad situation about this round is that, the families which are in the top 10 are all either allied to each other, or are too far away to fight each other. This has turned the round into - 'which one of us can bank the best'. Sad.

note: I wrote 9 out of 10 reviews last night, since then things might've changed.

***Natural Disasters - Landslide (624)***

Dropped by their allies, just to avoid a war - the situation they are in shows the way our game is evolving. Its not imperial conflict, but imperial diplomacy. Unfortunately they have had to settle for different allies, and this is going to affect their growth. A family that has been growing steadily so far, this situation has showed signs of slowing them down. Led by Funeral, Humidity and Funeral are poaching the family in the right direction and their attacking force seems balanced. They have alot of space to explore, to their south and west - i dont expect this family to face any problems (hoping that the game doesn't turn into imperial backstabbing ) *Contenders for top 10*

***Have Banged Cameron...slut (632)***

Dropped 624, this faimly also lost two players. In my last PvC i had them as contenders FTW - oh how things change. This family has simply not been able to keep up with the pace and their lack of aggression has amplified this fact. They are happy to sit back and explore explore explore. Naps and alliances will only take them so far - but winning takes something else. *Contenders for top 10*

***Happy B-day Frank! (628)***

Nothing much has changed since before. This family has access to S3, S1,S4 and S2 and is taking full advantage of it. It has a decent spread, along with its allies they seem unstoppable right now. It seems that the attackers are being buffed up atm, so i expect this family to slip a little, maybe #4 for a few days but they'll be back. Fortunately the family faces no threats to their core and can simply sit back and infra whore - if their bankers keep up with the likes of the best in PW they will have no problem whatsoever. *Contender for top 5*

Involved in the freaky tri issue the family has responded just like i had expected. Stole #1 for a few days but were quickly throw off the spot. This brilliant diplomatic move has sealed a boring, infra-whoring round for the family. All they have to do is hold on and let TitanofPW, Bender,Everlant and Bankaccount do all the work. I once again expect this family to take #1 within 2 - 3 days, execpt this time they wont be letting go *Contenders FTW*

Selur has done a fine job of holding this family together, and taking them in the right direction. There is a huge disparity between player nr 1 and nr 2 however there is noone to pick on Campbell. A good mix of bankers this family is going to have a boring round infra-whoring (yes, what a surprise! yet another fam who all they can do is infra whore in order to succed!). *Pretender for top 5*

***The Unexpected ! (625)***

Once again...the final family that is part of the ugly alliance situation. This is another family however that has benefited from it. Last time i had predicted a quick demise for this fmaily - howevre the alliance changes things. This family's hope still stands on Ilfrin as their next banker is 290k smaller than Ilfrin - take out Ilfrin and this family is open to destruction. Attackers like Trance and Lamda are keeping this family afloat with their attacking prowess however their weak economy is going to slow them down. *Contenders for top 5*

This family was 13th the last time i did the PvC. Then i had said they would be steamrolling themselves into the top flight - and they've done exactly that. This family has got a powerful economy, and with Redlink and Ricking in the same family im sure they have injected good exp and knowledge to their smaller players who seem to have performed well so far in. They still have the whole of S1 to themselves and i dont think they shuld be bumping into too many families. *Contenders for top 5*

***Are Banging Cameron (631)***

This family has a good balance of attackers and bankers, and have also got a strong grip on their economy, with psycore,MW and Oscar holding the family. With two attackers perched on their fleets the family have struck the perfect balance. However they are rather planet fat compared to their competition - nearly 100 planets. This will cause them to lose their #1 spot in a few days and i doubt they will retain it. *Pretenders FTW*

***.:: Sex positions ::. (615)***

This family are doing well, and have consistently performed throughout the round - holding their status in the top 6.  However, for me, their attacking prowess is questionable wherein Seanyboy and Domininom seems very inactive and the whole family's attacking guns depend on Jack Hammer & Dweeb.  However they have the economy to back it up and if need shuld arise the 2 - 3 active attackers that they have will take care of the threat. *Contender for top 10*

***We bought our accounts on Ebay (614)***

This family has alot of space to build, and their lack of planets suggests a powerhouse of an economy, compared to their counterparts.  Nicely situated in S1 i dont believe they should have too much trouble find space to explore! Allied to 27 and 20 it allows them to dominate S1 and achieve a great spread.  With the addition of Hobo in the family i expect rapid growth for the family.  They are not in the top 10 right now but they are the dark horse of the round.  *Pretenders for top 10*
