Smith is certainly not the most common last name. There is heaps of debate, but it is something in the range of Li or Chang. Probably Li though.

Mohammed is the most used first name.

Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...
