@DS I thought Lost Odyssey was pretty good compared to most RPG's. The storyline was unusual, the monsters were bitches to kill, the concept of front row and back row actually made sense (mostly) and most of all, an amnesiac immortal who has lived 1000 years, and has bits of memory come back in the form of stories throughout the game (stories that I am desperate to find cause i don't want to write it down)

Starcraft is by no means the same. zerging, only works against noobs. Age of Empires II is a pathetic, sorry little game.

AoE II is only fun for me when i get to make my own maps with hundreds of people killing each other (or in most cases 500 samurai against 200 teutonic knights and 200 jaguar warriors)

Teutonic Knights are virtually unbeatable in close range tongue. Athough jags come close.

Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...

i think aoe2 is a more strategic game but the fun factor going to starcraft... though i wouldnt mind playing either of the two

yep, and thats the balance side. I would play with my brother who has Koreans or Japanes, anyone with ARbalest and tumb ring and i would form a protective cirkel around him with couple of cannons for siege onagers and my knights big_smile

AoE II is an extremly simply game. i bought the game, with 0 experiance in single player or against computers, i played online and raped people. and not the good kind of rape. rape that made even the raper sad after it happened.

Strategy RTS:  Command and Conquer
Although Starcraft and Starcraft: Broodwar are my favourites they simply have too many problems with poor AI and pathfinding for me to honestly consider them to be better than C&C.


meant to say C&C as best RTS, and FF series owns RPG hands down, so does Rainbow six series in FPS
