I've been in top ranked fams and bottom ranked fams--currently much closer to the bottom.  When attacked, you fight back.  Does it ruin your current plans?  Yup, but that's kind of the way it works.  Does it suck to have someone much larger than you begin to attacking you?  Definitely, but it's much better to stand up to them and fight back than bitch and moan. 

Personally I think people have become wildly whinny and sheepish around here, in many respects.  I think the idea of cores is simply retarded--and is always used as an excuse for a preemptive attack in hopes no one will fight back.  I think top ranked fams don't war with one another nearly enough; but neither to smaller fams.  Perhaps everyone would be happier if we did away with all of the units except explos and then this would simply be a game of exploring planets and building buildings.  We could change the name to Imperial Hippy Utopia...I wonder how many people would stick around.

Next round i think the top family after say 1 week should declare every system in there core, then we'd all know where we stood.

furiousd was not whining he complained ( once) that he was getting bullied in whcih he was not, i explained to him that he lost only 4 planets, you guys turned this into what it is now, the same as all the other threads about our fam which is not fair.

Bigger people should lose a bigger % of morale? I was, I say was because of a recent attack we had, in the top family in PW. We were almost 100k ahead of the next closest family. I had someone in a family ranked last take a planet from me.

Then I took it back and they said I was dishonorable because I was attacking a family so small. I had to explain that his Networth was higher than mine and that I just did a retake. I was not taking anything in addition to. Can not please them all I guess

1420 is pretty damn low
4 planets may not seem alot
but perhaps they were portalled and alot of their fleet was lost

why even attack 1420, a family that is bottom 10....

But seriously, a 6mil attacker attacking a 2.8mil player is stupid.

Theres an easy way to fix this problem, though.

Right now, there is a rule, that forbids players attacking a player that is 35% or less their NW. Why not add on a clause that restricts attacks to a family 35% or less of another family's collective networth. Then, if a family gets raped, it's their fault for being over the 35% fam NW rule and NOT being prepared.

how bout this a 1.5 mil attacker in top 10 attacking a 300k banker? And the smaller fams portal all planets and all fleets are lost 50k fighters is nothing to you but is to small people, or 200 k soldiers/droids
