i wasnt fooled

Hot water starting running into the large metal tub as Undeath turned the tap. It has been a long, frustrating day and he was exhausted. Convincing the castle to vote against Torqez was one of the hardest things he has had to do and he was relieved  that he was found to be a traitor. Had they caught the seduced one though?

He decided to put those thoughts to one side and have a night of rest and relaxation to soothe his mind so he could start afresh tomorrow. Slowly twisting the tap anti-clockwise, the steady flow of water dripped to a stop and Undeath climbed into the tub. He put his head back, closed his eyes and tried to clear his head.

Images of running happily through the green fields of Gallador filled his mind as he thought back to when he was child, but they were quickly rubbed out in place of the memory of a traitor hammering a nail into his palm. He jolted in the bath and opened his eyes startled, looking around his bathroom. Steam from the hot water had gradually filled the room and he wasn't able to see much. He closed his eyes again.

This time, displayed before his eyes were images of the great King of Gallador striding on horseback through the castle courtyard. Crowds of people were w00ting and cheering whilst waving flags as he passed them. Undeath was standing amongst the crowd watching on, his wife and son were waving in front of him and he smiled.

As Undeath slowly drifted to sleep in the bath, a lone figure had just silently entered the room and was pacing around the tub hidden within the steam. He approached the end where Undeath's head was leaning and took out a long piece of copper wire. He quietly placed it in front of his neck and suddenly pulled towards him using all the force he could muster.

Undeath immediately awoke from his gentle slumber and tried to grip his throat. His attacker had pulled the wire tightly against his windpipe, trapping off all air supply. Water splashed voilently out of the bath as Undeath thrashed his legs and wriggled whilst attempting to break free.

The traitor continued with his relentless strangling of Undeath until the struggling had weakened dramatically. He regripped the ends of the wire in both of his hands and prepared for one final pull. At that moment, he did the exact opposite and dropped the wire as he had been hit across the head with something hard and firm.

The traitor was knocked to the ground beside the bathtub and scrambled backwards towards the wall to have a better look at his attacker. Emerging from the steam with a large steal metal pole was the cleric. The cleric strode forwards with the pole ready to strike again but quickly looked back at Undeath, noticing that his chest was rising and falling in a steady motion which was enough to ensure that he would be ok. Raising the poll again, the cleric swiped at the traitor who was slowly edging backwards whilst grabbing anything he could lay his hands on to throw at his attacker.

As he realised he had backed around the whole of the tub, he knew that he would have his back to the door at any moment. Taking a risk, the traitor span around and ran for the door. The cleric took off after him and raced into the corridor. Once arriving, the cleric looked from side to side but the traitor must have turned a corner and could not be seen. Deciding not to give chase any further, the cleric placed the pole on the ground and went back to attend to the body of Undeath lying helplessly in the bath.

BTW..fun playing with you all , too bad it wasn't as easy as last time
but you gotta admit this was ONE OF THE BEST mafia games ever...
