Re: [Credit Crunch] Has it affected you?

Only difference it makes to them is whether they continue to get their million dollar salaries or if they just walk away holding the bag of 100M that they already made in the last few years.

Funniest part is the Hedge Fund managers that made a billion and more in one year.

I don't think anything's changed for me, at least not yet. Come June (when I graduate) I might find employment harder to find, but then again I haven't really heard about biotech companies being severely affected.

The pumped another boatload of money into "the rock that just wont float" Citi.

I find it funny that they will debate for days about whether to loan $25B to companies that manufacture cars and provide a real input to the economy but have no problems dumping 10x that amount into useless finance companies that provide nothing. Worst of all is that a bank run on Citi so close you can smell it, and when that happens the whole deal will just become a big farce.

When you have $500M and you lose $200M it still doesnt matter, you still have more than you will ever need.

if your nation's economy was really threatened by the single bank, have the head executed for treason, and keep going until the new head agrees to your terms.
