What have we learned?  When attacking 1445 you msg them to raze portal. This way you won't get whine messages and loose less fleet on both sides.....

im not sure why this is a thread against our entire family when clearly its only one person doing this.  as a family we never told him to start attacking low families, he just does.  I know you've away form I.C. for a few years but have you been away form your brain for 3 years as well?  you can't blame an entire fam for one renegade attacker, one that really isn't doing much to attack you.  Hes taken a couple planets trying to expand into a diff sector, big deal.  you guys are getting into a petty fight over this and you should be the one ashamed of making this big a deal of it.

I agree 1445 is a decent fam in general, their actions have been tolerant of us and we appreciate that.

It is really this one player stirring things up.

The system is question is 3 tics from our HS, i cleanly retake all planets this guy took, under instructions from leader,  except the one planet he had originally - as i didnt wanna piss him off.

Then i start getting flamed and insulted over PM; him threatening he will "kill my fam", he goes on and makes a few sloppy retakes, then complains afterwards that he lost the buildings due to him being over 2 times my size. - Claiming he wants compensation for the buildings which he destroyed ...  which were originally ours?

I am also starting to remember my reasons to why i gave up on IC a few years back...

Although my fave line, has got to be, what he said AFTER raiding -

Systems> you only have 1 player left in them.

But seriously, this is easy to resolve, inform your attackers we are going to retake what we lost, and we can all continue on with the rest of this round

Becuase you obviously don't realize what you stand to lose, we are just getting set up for next round, we have no goals this round, so if you go to war with us, he will Nuke, and Op your family so bad, that you will lose so much that you can't even begin to understand, a war with a smaller family MAY mean farming planets, but for your family a war on a 30+ planet means.

All I'd want honestly is a bit of a assurance that if retake our planets and can hold with our scermish with system that the rest of the family doesn't really get involves so long as we only stick to retakes of the planets that have been taken from us.

We don't intend to just give up the planets. we want our planets back, most people do when they are attacked, and we can get them back, those planets have ping ponged a bit but they did start in our fam and we'd like to have them home.

but at the same time I don't want to irritate of get other members of your family involved such as Magic who retook some retakes and we've been trying to get those back as well now from him...

From my standpoint things have the potential to rage out of control if the fire isn't put out quickly or at least isolated
