Topic: What do you think about cosplay?

I recently watched an anime called Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion. I realized that I like this anime so much that I want to cosplay as the main character and wear that to anime expo in July.

So, what do you think about the concept of cosplay? Have you cosplayed before? How do I go about making my own clothes?

*Cosplay is play dress up..basically.

cosplay.... I always thought that was kinda cool except you have to be comited otherwise your costume will suck and youll look like a fruit.

nah, I'm not really into that, dressing up like fictive characters. But if you like it then indeed, put alot of time in it and get the best costume! big_smile

Lota people seem to pronounce it that way, but I prefer GEE-us.
and it's not gay considering it's only been the best anime since ever.
and hopefully you've finished it when I say Lelouch lives.

Hmm, coseplay is really gay if it is what i think it is

Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...

Cosplay itself isnt gay if you do it to socialize with friends. Cosplay is gay if you do it because you wanna dress up like some anime guy and socializing is an afterthought.

i myself have never cosplayed, but me and 2 friends, after getting wasted, did wander around the south side of chicago wearing pirate hats.
