Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...

Tears ran down Humidity's cheeks as he watched the executioner approach. Dark eyes stared back at him from behind a black veil. A knight appeared behind him and motioned towards the platform in front.

A moment later and a sea of faces were eagrely watching him place his head down on the execution block. They wanted justice! Their numbers had suffered another setback and they needed to catch another traitor.

The executioner raised the axe and brought it back down firmly. Humidity was dead in an instant as his headless body rolled over onto the wooden floor where a pool of blood had already gathered. The crowd erupted in cheers and w00ts as a knight, dressed in full battle armour, bent down to inspect the body's possessions. He took out a piece of paper from one of his trouser pockets and unfolded it.

The paper was a letter with the King of Gallador's coat of arms imprinted along the top. He scanned towards the bottom of the letter and saw that it had been signed by the King himself a number of days ago. The top of the letter read: "Dear Humidity, one of my most loyal subjects..."
