Topic: The sinfarea sea

Bring it back plox tongue

Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...

Scinfari Sea actually tongue
I recently played an air-combat game which contained very familiar names and themes... you know what I'm talking about (

It would, until the storyline became an unreadable tangled mess again....

Re: The sinfarea sea

how so? Last time we just went overboard with all the crazy stuff tongue. If we just keep it to regular mode it should be good.

Re: The sinfarea sea

How much structure do we want to implement? Do we want it to remain Lesser Sketchpad Standard (that is, good prose is the priority), or do we want it to have a map and preset politics and junk like last time?

Wha? This sounds mildly interesting, explain a bit, any one?

Re: The sinfarea sea

In the old days, there was a naval roleplay.

It degenerated into the RP equivalent of an arms race, which promptly collapsed into a tangled mess, but that's okay. tongue

Definitely need a map...  []  As fer th' rest I think it all depends on how much freedom we want scallywags t' have.

Re: The sinfarea sea

We as a whole now seem to go for the free form ones so I would like to see some more of them less free form as I'm doing as ages of old, and a map is a must for seafearing

Re: The sinfarea sea

Fokker, shh!  I only sorta borrowed the name somewhat... >.>

And Alg, I still have the huuuuuge history of the Scinfari Sea. :P  There was no map involved with it, though.  I trashed the map idea because I felt it would complicate matters (and it's really hard to draw a series of islands with leaving room for the unknown).  Although, I do still have the map, too.  It's just...less ocean and more land.

Edit:

Here's the map I created.  It hasn't been used in any RPs that I can think of.  All that's missing are locations:

Re: The sinfarea sea

Should be more islands especialy in the middle and to be frank the forces of the current would make all the land in the middle pretty smooth instead of the edgy

Re: The sinfarea sea

Aro, quit the critiquing, will ya?  The map was originally created for one of JackShadow's rps.  He never utilized it, so I took it in and tried to add more water.  Unfortunately, it wasn't going like I thought so I got rid the map idea and went with something less structured.

Re: The sinfarea sea

I declare that map to be the map of the world of The Legend series. tongue

I'm game for this, if you guys can settle down about the map tongue

Re: The sinfarea sea

Well, I still have the history of the Scinfari Sea, if anyone wants that.  Or you can create a future or past history of it and RP from there (to avoid it becoming a "restart").  It's up to you guys.

Re: The sinfarea sea

I liked the history tho
