>>i'm talking about doing things different from how a politician would do it..or at least how they're expected to do it<<
And I asked for ANY examples of this you could find. And I knew you couldn't find any, because it's just a line--it's not true--and you didn't.
>>how is that saying he's guna fail? he can't get most of what he wants done..<<
You said he couldn't get most of what he wants done, just like McCain couldn't have if he were elected. But if McCain was elected, he would be elected president while both the house and senate were democrat-majorities. Obama's party has the exective branch and both houses of congress. How can you compare their abilities to get things done, when Obama has the majorities he needs to pass anything and everything he wants and McCain wouldn't have? To even draw the comparison shows a lack of faith in Obama. You don't think his party holding majorities isn't a HUGE obstacle that McCain would have had and he does not?
>>i can see that the situation will not allow for a lot of obama's programs<<
You mean that his programs require a strong economy (resulting in tax revenue) and that they cannot be put in place now because they, in fact, hurt the economy?
>>i only say mccain's plans couldn't get through either cuz i wanna get out the point that niether said the truth... since i'm talking with mostly republicans here, i have to include mccain <<
I'm not a Republican. McCain didn't promise much; and he may well have been able to deliver that small amount because he sides with the Democrats on half of the issues anyway. But your comparison of what they could get done is worthless; even with how liberal McCain is on many issues, Obama's party still has majorities in both houses of Congress, and he votes with his party ALL the time anyway. I don't think anyone forsees his party not voting for whatever their Messiah proposes.
>>it's large because of people like obama?
are you frigin kidding me?
it happened under bush's watch, it happened when the republicans were in charge of the white house...
it's bush dumass!<<
I won't argue that Bush isn't a moron. But he's an exception to real conservatives and their values in Amerika. Ron Paul, for instance [who I don't "like," but he's better than Bush] wouldn't have gotten us into either war. Real conservatives (not centrist Republicans) place a strong value on fiscal responsibility. That Bush doesn't doesn't mean that Democrats aren't by-and-large far worse fiscally, with their massive spending proposals.
Wright is an example of how he did things differently? Let me buy you some newspaper subscriptions, because you haven't been paying attention. He did EXACTLY what POLITICIANS do. At first he denied knowledge of comments. He defended the relationship as a whole. Then he saw that that wasn't working so well. So he changed his statements several times until he had claimed optimal distance. He lied about it along the way as he changed his story. Sounds like any other politician.
I like Gladiator because he doesn't mince words. He's open about not minding if Iran nukes Israel out of existance. At least we know where he stands. Russia can have Georgia too.
I think comparing our military spending to a country like China's is a good argument. We should treat our soldiers like a country who throws wave after wave of troops without weapons at us to expend our ammunition. Let's respect life as little as they do. I want to see my country move in that direction. I'm so morally righteous! Disgusting. It's ignorant thinking like this that pisses off seniors in this country who have actually seen how leaders of many other nations treat their people. It disgusts them. They place great value on being better to people than this. And when you ignorantly talk about these peoples/nations like they share your values (or rather, 'our' values; maybe you value life as little as they do?) and compare us to them like there aren't a hundred differences that come into play, you disgust all of us. We're better than that. We wish you were too.
>>most politicians i know and see, would probably just throw him under the bus as you said when the video was released<<
Wright was an important part of what gave him his base to begin with. If you knew anything about Obama and where he came to power among whom, you would see why he hesitated to put distance between him and Wright. Remember: "I can no more disown him than I can disown the black church."? Obviously not. He did what was politically expedient to the extend that it was politically expedient when it was politically expedient. Your ignorance of what happened doesn't make him different; it makes you ignorant.
>>able to talk and convince other people is a strong ability, stronger than any bomb ever made...<<
Are you proposing that most world leaders are as stupid and ignorant as the majority of the Amerikan public? That Obama tells them something is best for them isn't going to make them forget about their interests and concerns which are the reason they're acting in a way Obama wants them to change.
It's a felony to steal as much money as he proposes to. They should shout "GOTCHA" and arrest him when the socialist pig tries to pass that Marxist garbage.
