going back to planets counting most, that is stupid. If you're 1st in size as a fam and 16th in NW, that just means your planet fat as all hell, that's no accomplishment, I think the best fams are the ones who are 10th or so in size but top 3 in nw. and score sucks, because yes it counters EOR Jumps, but it doesn't correct itself fast enough, until 2 or 3 days ago we were still in the bottom three or four in terms of score, despite our clear increase in strength for the last two plus weeks now...

ur wrong about planet size; the fact that a fam can be 10th in NW and 1st in size doesnt mean planet fat; it means Attacker skill and aggression. some fams like mine dont like to sit and play infra whore, we like to grow a bit then attack, then grow a bit and then attack, keeps both bankers and attackers happy.  and for a fam to be half the infra of another fam and beat them or even be close to planet size shows superior attacking skills or laziness on attackers smile

White, we'll have to agree to disagree, yes planets do count for something, but I rate them as 2nd to networth, always have, and always will. Don't get me wrong, finishing first in size is an accomplishment on it's own, but NW indicates fam strength, all those fams that infra whore could jump their attackers to take a crap ton of planets at EOR, and if the attackers are smart, and planet skinny for morale purposes, they could probably just rape the hell out of that "aggressive" family of which you speak.

most of the fams who infrawhore do just that because they cannot attack even when they jump their fleets massive....and my family has proven last round and so far this round that even though you lack infra you can still win size which in the end DOES mean more than NW and a large majority of IC will agree there....

Actually, WhiteShadow is 110% right on this one. The fam who is not aggressive attacking but instead infra-whoring, it show how weak the family is as other aggressive families will notice and take advantage to destroy them. How much attacking power show how much it can destroy infra faster than that infra-whoring family who dont have attacking power. Networth is still important because it help u keep track of your infra and sometimes a family with a lots of infra can beat other fam with less infra, but planet sizes change the ball game for a war.

Networth and planet size need to be balanced, but still planet size is still very important. All vets know that.
