hey guys, lets quickly note theres quite a few different forms of love

as far back as i can remember in my 15 years of catholic education, the love conveyed to god was physical to NO DEGREE (after all thats why we call these SPIRITUAL matters isnt it?)

Yes Decimus is a smart ass about the whole situation because he obviously has felt abandoned by anyone who cares about him, and rather than taking into consideration it's probably because he's the big stinky fat guy that sits at his computer all day staring at IC and porn, he makes smart ass comments in everyone elses threads.  And now he's trying to bad mouth god, a subject he probably knows very little about.  And if he does know anything about it, he views it in the same close-minded way he seems to view everything else.

I think the athiests/agnostics are the close minded people in the world.  It's true, there is no way to prove that God does or does not exist, but the purpose of religon in my life is to give hope that there is something better coming my way, or to my family. 

But go ahead Decimus make your dumb ass comments, because in reality, God really loves you too... so that means we dont have to

Humans are humans, what they become is half chance and half choice. As Decimus so eloquently points out, to think  anything else, to think that people are made either good or evil, leads to some very unpleasant conclusions.

I think nemmy want to hear peoples own opinions.
