Re: Confessions of a Marine

imperial is so funny. he claims im the one that has a superiority complex, and im the one assuming shit.

now lets examine what i said. i said you married a porn star. i agree with you that she wasnt a porn star when you married. but the fact that she is a porn star and you married her, makes the statement true.

Re: Confessions of a Marine

No, it doesn't because.

A. You don't know when she became a porn star in lue of Pre or Post divorce order.
B. Your statement, was in an attempt to make me look stupid, as to "Hey your a dumass for marrying a Pornstar".
C. What AM i assuming? I go off what your saying here, and how it doesn't make sense.
D. Your ugly.
E. Superiority Complex? I'm finding reasons that are not there to make myself look better then you?
F. What comes after F?

Re: Confessions of a Marine

I find it hillarious you assume I'm stupid because I'm a soldier. That was an ignorant statement. I will be going to university in the fall, which i will have no problem getting into as I'm now an adult student and i had honors in high school. The idea that soldiers are stupid is completely ludacris. Yes there are some, but there are also stupid people in any demographic you look at no matter what the career might be. I chose a job that put my in harms way so you can enjoy the right to make retarded statements like you did. In some countries if you were to call a soldier our police officer stupid you could be killed. Count your blessings you live where you do and you can be an asshole without fear.

your chose to be a solider and performed so abominably that your country is embarressed by you. you put yourself in harms way and accomplished nothing but helping a politician fulfill a vendetta he had against Saddam. you helped your government waste way too much money.

Perhaps, but something you don't understand, and rightfully so, Some of us were born to be Knights and Vassles, Soldiers, and Marines.

We didn't chose our Generation to be born in, we didn't chose the life we entered, but we do chose what to do with it, and those of us who in our Blood wish it, seek to protect those who can't, or are too cowardly, or full of Malice to do it themselves.

We don't know where we will go the day we swear That Oath, we don't know why we will be there, and for what reasons will our lives end there should it be the case.

We only know why we swore that Oath, your Judgments shouldn't be directed at those who wished to sacrifice so much for those who wouldn't and be directed on those who seek to abuse those who are called Heroes.

It's our small solace in a world of Selfness, we stand above it all as the Apex of Self-Sacrifice, for it's what we chose, hate those who seek to abuse that, not us.

Re: Confessions of a Marine

its a selfish thing to sacrefice your life for fame and glory, when theres people all around you who you're hurting. and thats what soliders are, selfish, mindless, drones who want to grasp glory the only way they can, through martyrdom, no better then terrorists.

Only had time to watch the first video, and it's good to see that not all marines are blind sheep willingly being lead into areas where they have no business being sent to.

well, i think Imperial is one of those "blind sheep willingly being lead" because he himself said it. he was a good soldier and a good soldier does what he is told without question. that is their job.  they can still think for themselves if they want. don't be dissallusioned into thinking all soldiers are is mindless drones. especially marines. US Marines are one of the most respectable groups in the world.  I hope to be a Good Soldier when i finish boot camp.

Re: Confessions of a Marine

@ Avo, no one sacrifices the important things in life for Glory, the trade off it not worth it, i didn't join for the Glory or anything else, i joined because i wanted to serve, i lost allot while serving things i didn't know i couldn't have, life was harder then you can imagine, and in turn society tries to make up for the loss with benefits some being called a Hero, others with a free dinner buffet with military I.D. ^^

@ Soth, there is a different between blindly following orders, and following orders knowing damn well you have no choice.

I'm not in the Marine Corps, because i was too intelligent, and refused to do things that the USMC felt i should of done, they were not orders because the USMC can't order these specific things. However, they recognized that my intelligence was a threat to unit Cohesion and recommended me for an Honorable Discharge. instead of saying hes too smart for the military they said "Hes Unsuitable for Military Life", after over 3 years of service, Ha - Thats because i transfered to a new Unit and they didn't like my Wife, and i refused to divorce her, and i start to manipulated the system, and i was successful at it. In hindsight i wish i did divorce her then, and save my career.

I'm not stupid, you don't follows orders, and your going to the Brig, (USMC Brigs, make Max Security Prisons like Preschool), just because i was a good Marine, and did what i was told doesn't mean i did question somethings, should the need arise.

Not following order can get Marines Killed, something i won't be responsible for.

i agree they're two different things, and i'd think the person supporting a family by working at some fast food joint is more noble then the [guy] thats risking the well being of his family and friends because of some macho complex.

Oh I dunno, given the takeover robbery rate in this state, the guy behind the counter is taking a more serious risk than troops in Iraq...
