happens to other nations too..
german troops just shot a whole family at a checkpoint a few days or weeks ago.
its not only an american problem.. but since americans are in afghanistan with the most troops and appear most active.. for sure they kill most civilians.

look, i googled for 1 second.. and allready found 2 articles about british soldiers killing civilians too.

also in your post you say yourself "US led troops" maybe even there brits had been involved, or norweigans.. or germans.. or canadians.. or whoever.

and if you never heard about this happening to UK troops there are a few possibilities..

a) its not in your news due to propaganda
b) you simply missed it
c) you saw but forgot because u dont wanna know.

here in germany.. when such happens it usually is nr.1 report on the news.

Amerikans fight with zero-tolerance for their soldiers getting killed. If someone fires on them from a building, they fire on that position.

I wouldn't have them fight any other way. No one who's ever seen combat would.

So cry about it. It's not your friends and family who will pay with their lives if you have your way and our soldiers are required to suicide-charge enemy positions to taze combatants to be safe.

The bottom line is, if people don't have the sense to get the [ ] away from people firing with automatic weapons, those people are risking dying.

LAPD: you get shot at from a building don't go barging in like a warzone. Seal off the block, evacuate the neighbors, you outnumber him, talk him out or work it in relays til he's too groggy to react when fresh SWAT kicks his door in.

Central Command: you get shot at from a building, don't pretend you're a cop, you been spotted and he's telling his pals where you are. You're gonna get ambushed. GET HIM and move through, sweep back reinforced and pick up the pieces.

one of the ones ..i think it was a week ago was when a whole marriage cermony was taken out by american troops
a couple were getting married and they were bombed... i think it was some 40 odd people dead..

REALLY REALLY SAD, that this has to happen..innocent people trying to live, didn't do anything wrong, and just killed, killed and no one is there to ask questions, no one is there to stand up for them

here you have one person murdered you'll have 200 people hunting down the killer, a whole city aware, sometimes a whole country

but when 40 people are killed at their marriage ceremony by the superpower of the world, it doesn't even make the front cover or headlines at 9'oclock

  1. They mistaken ed Celebratory fire for hostile fire.

But the unit i went with to Iraq was an HML/A - Marine Light Attack, Super Cobras, and Hueys -
I know the pilots and the Protocol, i know Pilots must confirm with OPCOM or SECOM before they can use life ammunition, and  - Pilots are people like you and me, if they knew it was a Wedding i doubt they shower the pride with Bullets instead of Rice.

I hate people who are whiny little dove babies, who can judge when they are not in combat to know.
