Being a soldier is not about the individual.

Being a soldier is about the unit.

Any distraction to unit cohesion is a detriment to the entire unit.

There is not dont ask, dont tell about alcoholics, drug addicts, adulturers....etc.
Anything that can cause unbalance in the unit, ..... it not good.

Homosexuals in a unit are a problem for the unit.

and the fact that being openly gay is a distraction is only a problem because of anti-gay sentiment, and shouldnt be tolerated, just like anti-black racism wasnt tolerated in nam.

Yes, but Blacks have a Legit argument, Gays do not, and awhile the point is while you can point out the Anti-Gay sentiments, which i do agree with you they are present, you can't force people to accept them, just like you can't force people to accept someone if they are racist.

You can argue with me that Gays are born or not born with the taste for man flesh all you want, and I'll just simply say prove it, which you can't, and I can't.

But it's quite easy to prove a Black man was born black.

Being gay isn't natural, being a specific race is. The military won't accept it, i won't accept it, so it's best just to leave things be.

Religon? The military doesn't have a choice on that matter, it's apart of the founding base that makes the Nation what it is, if they could they would, and i would in fact they would, as all religions are just hogwash anyways. - But much like Sexual Preference, no one will ask you, your religious Preference, and your asked not to go around advertising it, because it can and will results in a loss in Cohesion.

As for the Black issue, Black still isn't Equal and depending on who you ask - Many will tell you Black have excelled past Equality into a Racial superiority backed by Ethical Politics, others will tell you majority of Blacks in the Military still don't belong there, it's all moot and aside the point, i said Race has an Argument that Gays can't prove, but try.. and they didn't have choice about being Black, they just were.

As i sad we can argue over if Gay's had a choice, but you can't prove it to the point that Society will accept it as fact, when in turn race has the.

The Equal Opportunity Ideology, of the Military and most Employment places rely on the fact you will not be held back by conditions you can not control through birth, and for the most part the only thing that is excluded form that said definition is religion, and that is because as i said Religion was a promising factor in the creation of this Nation, Homosexuality was not, as a matter of fact it was a Crime at the time, (And in some Bluebook criminal statues of some location, it still is but is not prosecuted or enforced.).

its not ok to be openly gay because all american soldiers are insecure about their sexuality. this way, soldiers arent questioned about their sexuality.
