I'm surprised that i couldn't find a thread for it yikes.

Well, it has just been released...(Well, yesterday here anyway)...

What do people think of it?

Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...

downloaded it, and it made me cry ... hard..
First the cut screens. they .. well.. make a man turn emo sad
The game play is just .. bad. the camera is so annoying after playing supreme commander or world in conflict you are spoiled for life sad 
Also red alert 1 and 2 were at a really cool setting, but on red alert 3 they really tried to create a warcraft 3 setting, which failed. its a world war you cant go cartoony about that. One thing i kinda hate about all C&C games is that with mass producing one unit and zerg a base will always make you win the game. its just stupid there is no strategy in the games that go beyond the 1 hour barrier.
Also the game is all about navel wars. most of the land units are there to support the naval.

But ordos, once you start to play the game you really do get into it wink.

no, its awful X( i took the cd, i smashed it against the wall and pissed on it... that was in a classroom... so arocalex, if you smell anything... thats me,... i didnt clean up... tongue

No it isn't :S. Actually, i think all 3 (first in particular was and is always the best RTS) are pretty good.

#3 takes some getting used to, though.

I thoroughly enjoyed Command & Conquer 3. I especially enjoyed watching my annihilator tripods obliterate everything in sight, becoming elite and becoming UNSTOPPABLE WAR MACHINES OF DOOOM!!!!!! seriously, they hurt when they kill shit


and i must say, red alert was a bitch...at least the allied campaign was...I thoroughly enjoyed the soviet campaign though, even if i did pick the wrong missions and ended up screwed over with 3 flame towers and 2 heavy tanks vs 8 light tanks and 4 medium tanks (plus rangers and infantry sad )
