First of all, the only reason it's called the National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei), is for propaganda. Claiming your party is good for the common man is excellent, especially in times of depression. But infact, the only ones that benefited at all from the nazis were the rich capitalists (factory owners etc).
Now, there was also a communist party back then. You know what the nazis did to them? Abolished them. How socialistic and friendly of them, is it not?
The nazis also didn't like the Soviets very much. Guess why. Yes, indeed, they were communists, the arch rivals of the nazis! Which was part of why they invaded the SU (other part was resources).

Now please, go pick up a history book, go eat some brains in the hope it'll make you smarter, and gather intelligence. Pretty please, for the sake of humanity.

Prussia's Social-Democratic Prime Minister Otto Braun (1872-1955) was a courageous man who was well aware of the mortal danger the extremists - Nazis and Communists - posed to democracy and freedom - not only in Prussia but in Germany as a whole.

It was in the spring of 1931 that the so-called "national opposition" consisting of Hitler's National Socialist Party (NSDAP) and German conservative nationals (DNVP, DVP, and a group referred to as Stahlhelm) proposed to held a plebiscite (Volksentscheid) on the dissolution of the Prussian Parliament to bring about the fall of the government. Initially, the DKP rejected the proposal describing it as "Fascist betrayal of the people." Soviet Communist Party leader Joseph Stalin did not agree with this DKP line. Using the channels of the Comintern, Stalin instructed the German party to adopt a different line. Consequently, the German Communist Party leadership announced on July 22, 1931, that they would join what was now suddenly termed a "Red Referendum."4

In order to achieve a majority vote the Nazis could not do without Communist participation in the referendum. A unique Red-Brown alliance had been formed: both Nazis and Communists marched together in demonstrations against the Social-Democratic government of Prussia. "

Anyway. Did you guys see McCain with Fey on SNL? I thought it was a brilliant counterattack to Obama's 30 minutes ad. The more we see McCain out of his own campaign, the more it seems to me he would be really closer to victory if he stayed the "same" McCain instead of leaning right. The republican base would have voted for him (or rather against Obama), and he definitely can appeal to independents and democrats. Well my 2 cents.

Obama's grandmother dies the day before the election. That's just...weird. Not saying this emotion-wise, I'm not the sentimental type, but, like... timewise? Weird.

and it SUCKS for his grandmother, not being able to push another day or two to see his grandson be quite likely the first african-american president of the U.S.A

really sad, but my thoughts and prayers go out to them, and i gotta say this must be the most wierdest and awkwardest time for obama
he can't really celebrate to the fullest if he wins, he might not be able to make it to the funeral and what not..tough time for him, and tough decisions he has to make..

if dems didn't like obama, he wouldn't have brought in so many new voters
if dems didn't like obama, he wouldn't have gotten millions of new voters and young voters registered

no one dislikes obama on the dems side, actually maybe a couple 100 hardcore clinton supporters might not like obama, they feel like they got cheated out of the spot(LOL ) which couldn't be more false
