maybe you guys didn't know this, but the rogers centre(skydome) has a roof that opens and closes because this way we can use it to squeeze our enemies big_smile, and the CN Tower is just a giant fork with one end, instead of 3

Haven't read all the posts yet but let's be honest, the states could never survive this kind of merger.  Admittedly we're not all that different but dealing with Canadian citizens and issues requires a patience you people just don't possess; after a week your government officials would go insane and your postal workers would quit under the weight of letters we'd be sending.  Not to mention the fact your government could never communicate with Quebec, the Maritime Provinces (4), or any of the 3 territories; language barriers and such.  Also it'd look really bad on a map, your 50 itty bitty states and then 10 huge ones.
